Nobody's withdrawal is so bad that their dog gives up on them: that's crazy talk.

You get to Day 100 one day at a time. If you are being an ass to people, apologize and tell them you are quitting nicotine which is making you crabby.

Hey Rover, congrats on making your decision to quit and reaching out to us fellow quitters here at KTC. The key to quitting is the accountability you get with posting every day. I couldn't believe at first that I could give a shit about a bunch of strangers online but you'll find our common bond of quitting nicotine together makes it so much easier to get through the difficulties you're going to encounter while quitting dip. Make that promise every day to your quit group, which is October, and stick to your word. Hit me up if you have any questions and just need some support. Quit with you today.

Glad to be here.
I am almost through with Day 15.
I started dipping in 2007 when I was living in Colorado and haven't stopped since. Except for the three times i tried to quit. This is my third time. And hoping it sticks, because now I live in New York City where dip isn't as easy to come by and costs $7 a can. Yep. This time has been the easiest for some reason so that cheers me up some. I don't know it was because I've been swamped with work the first week since my quit day, June 23 or what. I was not suffering from the raw headaches and brain fog like I did the other two times i tried to quit. But two days ago all of a sudden i can't sleep more than an hour at a time without waking up and i'm getting stomach pains and i could have ripped the heads off of everyone i came across today. All symptoms listed as part of the withdrawal . How do i get to day 100 without losing my job, friends, even my dog? Lol.
I have faith in this group. I wish i had signed up the other times i tried to quit.

Hey quitter, nice guts to quit again. Be sure you are drinking plenty water - that is the advice I get regarding the same symptoms you mention. I'm having trouble with sleep as well, but I'm only in my first week. Best of luck, man. I will look for you in the Oct quit group.
