Hi all.

I am new here, starting yesterday.  Today is day 2.  I need all the help and support I can get.  I really need to do this.  I have 2 young daughters at home, and want to see them grow.  I am 32 now and have been dipping since I have been 18.  I've "tried" to quit many times, but always resort back to my little pocket friend of Skoal.  If anyone could gives tips, suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.  Also, did any of you guys ever fear going to the dentist because chew or used too.  I look forward to chatting to all of you.  Take Care.

Andy
Sounds like you and I are in the same boat. 33, have 3 boys at home who I'd also like to see grow old. Just posted my introduction, and did Roll Call for the first time today. I've been at it for 3 hours and it already sucks.
Thanks for the replies guys. I have thought about the C word trust me. Franklin, yes sounds like we are definately in the same boat here.
You two are not in a boat. You are on the biggest cruise liner ever built!!!!
Why? Because there are thousands on this ship, all of us addicts to a poison.
Welcome Aboard!!!
Read up, listen up, post up. STAY QUIT!

Just move moment by moment along the quitters path, run ahead if you have energy but crawl when necessary. And if you need to stop and complain about the pain and misery use us because we know what it's like.

Embrace the positives and how honest and respectable you'll be able to present yourself to your loved ones. Imagine that years from now when you walk your daughters down the aisle they will be what people look at and not you for reasons all us dippers fear...face reconstruction. In the next few days think of the big C word and if you're like me you won't have a near anxiety attack; we may still get cancer but we ain't planning our lives around using and enjoying as much of our cancer candy as we can in a given day.

Celebrate talking your life back today and try not to think about the forever part.
