Hello everyone.

I am on day 3. My last dip was on Sunday 11.1.15. My body is not doing well. I am restless, can't sleep, sick of gum and water, and have had migraines the last 2 days. I want to thank everyone on the group text last night. Your support was much appreciated especially my mopar buddy! Thx brother.

I pledge to all of my brothers who are fighting with me that I will not dip today.

The irony is that your body is doing well. You have removed nicotine from your system and now your body is replacing nicotine with natural and healthy neurotransmitters in your brain. That takes some time. Treat those symptoms like you have the flu: take pain relievers for the head ache, get plenty of water and eat healthy food, take long walks, stay away from alcohol, and be patient. You can choose to feel shitty alone, or you can choose to feel shitty with company by joining your group, posting every day, and communicating with others feeling just as you do right now.

Check out the welcome center and post roll, it's the promise for the day that keeps all of us quit.

Stay strong man the worst is almost over. After 72 hrs the nicotine is out of your system although the whole first week is pretty bad. It does get better I promise. Just worry about getting through today. Don't look back or forward just win today. Wake up repeat. Try hard candy, seeds, or fake if gum isn't doing the trick. Exercise as much as possible. Post roll first thing every morning and keep your promise. I quit with you today.

Hang in there, the first three days are rough!

Go to the Februaru 2016 quit group, post roll - your promise to yourself and everyone here tonot use nicotine for 24 hours. Post again every day when you wake up.

Exchange digits with your fellow quitters, build a support network that can do for eachother what chat did for you last night. (Keep with chat as well, more tools are better).

I quit with you today.
