So I'm on Day 4 of quitting. Only been dipping daily for a year. Is the hard part over with?
The physical hard part, the headaches and cramps and shakes and dizzyness, are over. 3 days and your system is flushed. I would still continue to pound the water.

As far as the mental side of things? That depends on you. You are an addict. Yeah...I said it. A year in and you are an addict. Like crack and coke and heroine. You think its tough for a junkie after 3 days?

Staying quit is a mental battle that you will face for as long as you live. Over the next 100+ days, your brain is going to be rewiring itself. All those things you did with a dip in will have to be done over and over without a dip to train your brain that it doesn't need another chemical involved.

Here on this website, we make a daily promise to each other that we won't touch the stuff, regardless of what is going on in our lives. We quit one day at a time. We load ourselves up with knowledge, and we batten down the hatches each day awaiting the worst.

Think you are up to the challenge? Read the welcome center link at the top. you will learn how and why this site works. Posting roll early each day is the backbone of my quit, and it will be yours to if you are serious about quitting. This isn't an off again, on again deal, come around when you feel like it kinda thing. This is hardcore, pit of your stomach, arm in arm with your brothers, at war against the enemy we call nicotine. You sign up, post roll, I and everyone else expects you to be here, bright and early, making your promise to both me and yourself that you are quit from that second until you put your head on the pillow that night.

Your group is October 2012. I hope to see you there. Take your life back. Lose the shackles of slavery to a can and live your life full of freedom.

My name is Mark, and I'm proud to be quit with you today.
Not to go off topic, but today this Wedge/Eddie thing is killing me.
You're almost out of the woods. Know thy enemy.

Well you've thrown another 8 months away. It's the pattern of a addict, until you make the decision to quit and are 100 % committed the pattern will continue. Pause, use more, continue using till you get sick of wasting time and money and then repeat the same process every few months! Fuck nicotine, life without it is what freedom is about!

The physical hard part, the headaches and cramps and shakes and dizzyness, are over. 3 days and your system is flushed. I would still continue to pound the water.

Have you "quit" before? If the answer is yes, then you already know this is hard and three days quit is not a foundation yet. You have much farther to go. A lifetime in fact.

You should join us. We have tools that help. Click that salmon colored welcome link at the top and start reading. Then post roll each day. With time you can quit using and regain your freedom.
