Quit with extreme prejudice...
My orders say I'm not supposed to know where I'm taking this quit, so I don't! But one look at you and I know its gonna be hot!

Remember why you're quitting. Remember the Kern family story. You have the strength to make a difference in your own life. Don't let nic control your life. Do you really think a few more minutes with nic is worth the disfiguring surgeries, the medical rehab, learning to make do without a tounge or jaw...or the pain nic inflicts on all those who love you.

You got a bunch of folks counting on YOU. We have been where you are. Nobody said this was easy, but everyone would tell you it is worth doing!!!

Stay strong and stay quit. And, if you got a great rack, let's see 'em. But most importantly, stay quit!!!

So I am doing this alone and trying to make it through day 1. You peeps that have finished before me, mad props.  I hate life right now.
No, you are not doing this alone. We are with you.

You will make it through day one. You are stronger than your addiction. You deserve freedom.
Texas,

You are NOT alone! That is what this site is all about. You posted roll. Now all you have to worry about is keeping your promise to us. You can do this any number of ways. Early on, I prefer the old minute to minute approach. Every minute that passes without that shit in your mouth is a battle won.

Trust me, a roll that has been posted is not a promise you want to break. I don't know you but I'll go ahead and guess that your word means something to you. If it does, you will understand why you must keep this promise. Your word is all you've got around here...Keep it perfect!

You got my digits in email and PM..

Come and get it T-sex....welcome to the rest of your life. Cancrusher laid down some powerful reasons. Don't die a 90 lb weekling with bad breath and half a face. If you wanna die grab a rifle and die for something. Spit the shit out, search your vehicles and personal stashes and get rid of the worm dirt. Thanks for stepping up and posting your struggle. Your quit strengthens mine.

Tex, like the others have said, you are not alone. There are thousands of us that have been through the same shit you are going through. One other thing, you better not be fading fast man. You posted roll, so you can't dip today. Do that again tomorrow, and keep your word. One day at a time man. If you need another number send me a pm.

White knuckle it. Take it minute by minute if you have to. Grab some straws, toothpicks, hard candies, gum, sunflower seeds, anything that is not nicotine. Go for a run, bike ride, cross country ski, or any other exercise. Drink lots of water. Distract yourself. Get back in here tomorrow and post roll. You will find that normally there will be dozens of people on here at any given time to give you all the support you need. Hang in there. You can do this. We were all where you are now.

Texas, You've made the first step by posting roll. All the shit your dealing with will pass, but it wont be easy. Come over to March and talk with a few of us. I'm only 9 days quit, so I was at day 1 only a week ago. Embrace the suck ( and it does suck). It was about 4 days for me, longer for others. Go one day at a time, one hour, one minute if needed, just Honor your promise today. It will be the best Christmas present you could ever give yourself.
