Welcome Mc. Head over to November and post roll and watch the support you'll get. Also, don't "give this a whirl". This site can save your life if you put everything you have into staying quit. I know you've only been chewing for 10 months, but soon enough that turns into years, then decades. Quit right now and take back your life, you can do it, we can help.
"Fuck nicotine dude. You don't need it. And you don't want it. It didn't do a thing for you and you know it." - worktowin
"today you dissided that shit wont control your life. and it wont. unless you let it." - drome
"Not thinking about nicotine is for people who've never used nicotine. We threw that option away with the first dip or drag on a cigarette. We are addicts, and cannot become un-addicted." - wildirish317
"You need to decide how much you really want to be quit." - pky1520
We are always at risk. And probably always will be. That is why I will never get "too quit" to post my +1. Every. Damn. Day. - geis2597

So I have only been chewing for about ten months, but I am already starting to see the side effects on my health. I can't get my day started without putting that skoal in my mouth. My gums hurt. I have white patches all around my bottom lip, so three days ago I got scared and said I'm done (as good of a reason as any I suppose) I threw out an unopened can and an unfinished can on the spot. Three days later I already feel better and my mouth looks 100x better. Unfortuanly the cravings are starting to arise. I'm a landscaper and unfortuanlty I associated dipping with every aspect of my job, now every time I hop on the mower I have such a strong urge to throw a lip in but I haven't and I'm proud to say I'm three days free of the horrible stuff now. I've heard such good things about this site and how tight knit the community is, so I figured I'd give it a whirl. Thanks everyone, good luck !

Welcome to the best choice you've made in a while!

Landscaping is done every day without a poisonous plant. You can do it too. Man the first few days are hard. The price you gotta pay for freedom. Keep posting here so you can look back and see the crisp you went through. Because, I promise you, there is a greatness ahead that you haven't seen in the past 10 months.

One day at a time.
