Huddy, this would be a great place to cross-post some of yours posts from May13 and May12. Show the new group how to communicate...

What happened Huddy? I see you quit a long time ago and now you're back on the beginning of the quit train. I think sharing you're story would help the rest of our May '13 group know what to watch out for when the crave gets so bad that you give in. It's up to you though. Any words of wisdom on what the new quitters can do to avoid this would be great. Thanks. See you on roll tomorrow.

Having only a few even care that you are back would sure wake me the fuck up. However, I am an addict. Im not special like you. I can't use "occasionally" nor would I flippantly throw away the support of a quit brother AND coworker, not to mention the other BOMBs. You would be close to a year right now. You could be helping May 2013. You still can theoretically. But that would require you to care about yourself and others versus a little fix in your lip. Pathetic.

Bump this up because I see you with a day 1
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

hey huddy, welcome bro. I am on day 39 of my quit. It is freakin awesome. you gotta post your day 1, today is the best time. There is a video and instructions on this. most guys post a link. look around this site and check everything out. but you gotta post day 1. If your ready okay? It is the best decision you will ever make, Period. Send me a email if you need to talk or have questions, I am fairly new at this, but this community will jump into your corner at a moments notice. Take a deep breath, jump, the water is awesome....the kool-aid is sweet. You gotta work some to get there, but it really isn't work, it's life that is worth living. Give me a yell, if there is something I can do for you I will, If I don't know I will ask for you.
Is that you John Wayne? Is this me?

Day 3 late Intro
« on: February 08, 2012, 07:57:00 AM »
Hello all fellow quitters,

I am starting my 3rd day without chew. I have been an off an on user for the past 16 years and I am thankful to report that most of that time has been off.

I first chewed in high school and only chewed when I either mowed the lawn or went to a party (I did not like to drink). Once I started college I pretty much was not chewing at all. Fast forward eight years and I grabbed a tin because I had a job where I was traveling quite a bit. I still only chewed during long trips (over an hour) and during Monday night poker.

I ran that schedule for a few years and then last June I started chewing everyday. I worked up to chewing about a can a day and I knew it was time to make a change. Found this site and I am using it for support.

I never had a particular kind of chew that I went with. I changed it up everytime I bought a new tin.
A son, husband, and father that wants to see all of the beautiful things that life has to offer but that nicotine can take away. I will hopefully walk my daughter down the aisle someday and it will be with a full face not a half face. I will have man to man talks with my boys and it will be with a full face and not a half face. I will grow old with the woman from my youth and I will do that with a full face and not a half face. Stay Quit!
