Only been a few days, but my tongue is so sore in spots.
So finished with this crap:
5$ a can, driving miles to save money in Missouri or a Indian smoke shop.
How was I so stupid?

Anyway...new to the group. Glad I found this site.
you're not stupid, just an addict like me. This method works, see you on roll!
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Welcome. I'm glad to see you posted roll. Pretty much, post roll daily, read all you can on here, interact with fellow quitters all you can, refuse to cave, collect digits, and reach out for help when needed.

You are stronger than the can is.
Thanks everyone.

I think I figured out roll call. I'll start doing it in the mornings so it's done.

Hey okie I'm in the December group. I will be happy to help you out in anyway I can. Like it's been said post roll everyday that's you promise not to use nicotine that day. Also, get involved this is a great place and there are great tools.
Welcome and see you in the December group!

Welcome and congratulations on your decision to be done. All I can say is it does get better as your body heals itself and your brain rewires itself from its chemical dependency. Those first few days and weeks can be killer so use all the tools available here at KTC.
Looks like you'll be in the December 2016 quit group so head on over and introduce yourself and begin posting roll everyday with your promise not to use nicotine that day in any way shape or form. It really does help to post if your word is like mine and you're used to people being able to count on you and you don't want to let yourself relapse above all else. This is your quit so now own it everyday and know it's one of the smartest decisions you've ever made. I know now it was for me but during the first month you couldn't make me believe it.
