T,

Great choice. Post roll, keep your word, and live nic free. There are no tricks. No pills, no patch, no excuses. Just don't put that shit in your lip. If you're serious about quitting, you'll be free. Commit to it and never look back.

I've been dipping for about 6 years now, ever since I began wrestling in high school. At first dip was an easier more enjoyable way to cut weight, but now I've come to realize that it is a poisonous crutch I've relied on these past years. 2 years ago I attempted to quit and made it 46 days and thought I was in the clear; one lip won't hurt me. I guess most of y'all know that story. Well I've swung by this website every now and again and figured that now is a good as time as any to pick today to quit. I'm not getting any younger and everyday I don't quit is another day I could have quit.

I know the next few months are gonna be rough but I feel like with some support, a lot of motivation, and a lot of persistence I can get through.

Well I guess this it for now,

Your damn right this is it. Take your life back brother! Enough of that cancer shit. Go to April and post your day 1. Read this : index.php?showtopic=50. Posting roll is the most important thing to do in your quit. If you post roll, then you make a promise to all of us that you will not use nicotine for the whole day. If you stay strong, post roll, keep your word, and stick close to this site, I KNOW you will be successful. Let us know if you have any questions, concerns, or just need to vent. Oh and congratulations on deciding you will not longer be a slave to a plant.
I know it seems pretty daunting right now but all you really have to do is stay quit today. Do you think you can do that? I know you can.

Tomorrow you get up and post roll to your April Quit Group and then you quit for just that day. That's too far in the future though. Don't worry about anything beyond today for now.

That's it.

I quit with you today.
