Hi, my name is Skyler. I am 23 years old and have been dipping tobacco since I was 15. I am so sick of tobacco ruining my life and slowly killing me, I got angry at myself for not quitting like I've been wanting to for a while. Today, I had it. I whipped that fricken can so hard out my car window and I said screw you. I came to a realization today that life is short and I don't want to make it shorter for myself. I have been in the Army Reserves for 6 1/4 years, currently an ROTC Cadet, and plan on pursuing my future metalworking job through Fastenal. I love baseball, which I dropped a full ride scholarship to join the army, and I love to hang around friends and meet new people. I have horrible anxiety from prior experiences in my life. If you'd like to know more, hit me up!

Thanks all.

Skyler
I hope you got through your first weekend without any problems!
Anxiety sucks - I think that and stress were my biggest triggers (or I should say: lies) for dipping so long.
Be strong and you can get through it!
Also, make sure your "friends" are on board with your quit! If so, they should be punching you in the nuts if you ask them for a pinch!
All my friends dipped, too - those who still do know I'm quit and respect that fully. Make sure you're buddies understand how important this is for you!

Awesome, I got it!
Perfect. Now try to figure out how to send a PM. If you send me a Pm I will shoot you my cell number
Use the support. Take everyone up on the offers for support. You will soon find that this is the best choice of your life, daily.
There are no circumstances in which using nicotine will improve the outcome.

My journey. The best part it is not over yet.

I think I did it right?
You posted in the correct group. But go back and look for the post that has today's date and a lot of names and days next to their names. That is Roll. Quote the last one you see and then select all in the bottom box , cut , then paste all text to the top box then add your name to the Badass quitter section. As long as you get your name on it you can't do it wrong

Skyler. Glad to see you are ready to quit and you found KTC. Now if you are truely ready to quit get over to May17 quit group and Post Roll. That is the price you must pay to quit here. That daily promise that you won't use nicotine in any form for 24 hours. So what you waiting for, punch your quit ticket and post roll!!!!!
