I'm not originally from WI, so the Packers don't mean much to me. I do pull for the Brewers, though. Kopp's is good, but LeDuc's is much better. (west of Waukesha). I don't do a whole hell of alot in Milwaukee, unless it's a Brewers game. Alot of good stuff going on on the western end of town.

I didn't go through a can a day. A can could last me 4-5 days. But the problem is that I swallowed for more than 12 years, and would leave a dip in for 3 hours or more.

The point I was trying to make is that it doesn't matter how much you use, whether it be a tin a day or a tin a week. If you spit or if you actually swallowed that crap. We're here to help you stay quit. If the tin has control over you, your an addict, it's that simple.

How can you live in Wisconsin and not be a cheese head? I lived in Milwaukee for 2.5 years. Loved it out there. Haven't been back in awhile. I could go for some Kopp's right now and a bratt at Miller Stadium. Wash it all down with a brew from Rock Bottom.
I'll take care of all of that for ya this weekend Turk...and a couple visits to Summerfest to boot! B)
I lived at Courtyard Square on Milwaukee st. Use to walk to the fair grounds. I miss Bucca's. I was right next door.

I will watch a couple red sox games for you on NESN in exchange.

Thanks for the replies. I do have to say to Turkey, though, that I am well aware of what this forum is all about, otherwise I would not be here. My background on my habits was not to flex muscles or compare, but to explain where I was before I quit, as I have seen many others do on this site. I'm not here to compete, I'm here to stay dip-free.

And ATV, I'll post on here daily, one way or another.

Hello Brian - You've made a great decision. Glad you found us. Post every day like ATV says. That's your promise to keep the shit out of your mouth for that day. Just one day at a time. I did the same thing you did....kept the shit in all day and swallowed it...Damn that's nasty. I can't believe I thought that was good. Anyway, you can do this...ATV will look out for ya. Welcome.

bmp this is not a contest to see who dipped more tins a day or who spit or swallowed. The game we play in here is, we give our word each day that we will not use tobacco. We're here to help you do that. Are you ready to be free? Lets quit!

Welcome bmp. I'm a proud new HOF'er. I started while in Wisconsin and that was 28 years ago.

Good luck I'll keep an eye out for you. You are going to have a rough ride for awhile, but believe me, the freedom on the other side is AWESOME.

Be sure to post every day, even if you don't see the point.

Just wanted to say hi to all. I quit Wednesday, June 25th, but didn't find this site until last night, as I was searching for fake chew to buy. Glad to have this site, it looks as though it has helped a great many people. I'm a 35 year old male in Wisconsin, and had been chewing for 20 years. I didn't go through a can a day. A can could last me 4-5 days. But the problem is that I swallowed for more than 12 years, and would leave a dip in for 3 hours or more. If I wasn't eating or sleeping, I had a shot of Copenhagen in my mouth.

Glad to be rid of it, and glad to be here.

Brian
