Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

My name is Dana Byrnes, I hope and think I'm begining this right, on how and where to post. But on May 19, 2015, I spit out the last dip I will have have. After 38 years of chewing, mostly skoal, or grizzly, I'm done. It's been 20 days, used the patch for the first two days, then found KTC, and it's been cold turkey ever since. It's a struggle everyday was not really prepared for how much it would effect me, but I will not cave! Still trying to figure out how to navigate around the site, but it hasbeen a help to come on everyday and read about others success, so I thank everyone who posts.
