Your story is familiar. If you were 2 inches taller, hung like an elephant and a little better looking you could be...ME! Its funny how when you start getting a little older and have people (wife / children) depending upon you suddenly you are not the invincible SOB you were back in the day. A realization overtakes you that this shit can kill you!

Good news my brother! It is not too late. I dipped 24 years and (with the help of the fine quitters here at KTC) have been free of all nicotene for 917 days and counting. There is no magical potion to success. It takes balls and determination! If you have those two things then we can show you the way to the light...Welcome aboard! Post roll and get involved.

Hello folks. I'm new to KTC and I'm also new to quiting.

I have been an addict for 25 years. I played baseball as a kid and wanted to look cool like George Brett with a big chaw in my mouth. Then it was on to college where everyone had dip...or was looking for a dip...or was heading to get some dip. Then my single life into my 30's.....always had a dip.

Now I'm a father of two (85) and a husband. Guess what?? Yep .....Still f***ing dipping!!

I want to be done with it. I'm ready to bleach my teeth white. I can take my family on vacation for the cash I spend on this shit.

I'm on day two. I'm ready. Thank you for your help. I'm going to need it.

KC Bronco (aka Jason)

A couple things, you sound weak right now, a lot of tries and hoping. Good news, I was weak on day 2, I needed this place. You need this place. Now remove hope, remove trying....just fucking do it. You're ready to bleach your teeth, after 25 years brother you better praising God you still have teeth, or a jaw or your life still. Take it one day at a time, learn to hate the nic bitch and YOU WILL grow stronger. Go get some seeds, gum, tooth picks and drink tons of water.

Most importantly, post roll. See that salmon colored link up there that says welcome center? Click on it and read how to post roll. Then head over to quit groups and find March'13 and use this new found knowledge. Now, why you may asking? You're an addict, and quitting forever, fuck that, that's impossible, but quitting today, easy....done. That's what posting roll is, giving your promise, your WORD that you will not use nic today, every day you post that promise. If your word means shit move along.

Grab your balls kid, its a bumpy ride
