2. Don't dip, no nic.
Actually, is not doing something, doing something?
PM me if you want my digits.

Drink water, chew seeds, jolly ranchers, and read this site.

One day at a time. This gets easier, not harder.

I got your back if you need someone to chat with.

Yeah, it sucks but you are QUIT today. Try the alternative chew...it lets you indulge the oral fixation of having something in your lip all the time. It has and is making my quit easier for me. You are quit today!

DAY 2 SUCKS SO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used nicotine for 15 years in various forms, but dip has always been my number 1 choice. I smoked for 5 years by itself, smoked and dipped for 2 years and have just dipped for 8 years.  Today, 02-05-14, will be my first official "day 1". I have to and want to kick this addiction to the curb. I can't really imagine doing my day to day activities without having a dip in, but I'm gonna give it my all. I have quit one time before for about 4 months then caved while going through a bad point in my life. No excuse! I didn't need it before hand and I don't need it now. I hope to stay strong and focused on my goal to quit. I am just at the end of my rope with desperation, but have always been reluctant to put down the can because it's such a big part of me. Well, that has to change! I want it to change! May God be with me and those who cross path in the next few days. It's not pretty. Good luck to you all!

Good for you JB. This quitting is a great thing! Welcome. Don't overwhelm yourself with doubt about not being able to enjoy your favorite things without dip. Just get through each day. That's it. You will find in time that nicotine didn't make you do anything better.
