Here's where you post roll every day.

Good work! Be sure to get substitutes (gum, big bags of seeds, herbal fake dip with no nicotine, hard candy, etc). I had mild headaches, and I would take an Advil towards the end of the day. And drink large glasses of water.

Keif,

Congrats on the decision to quit. Make it stick, NOW, by going over to the March 2015 Pre-Hof QUIT group and post your promise. I notice you had two intros (we'll get a moderator/admin to combine). You've also been given some solid quit advice here. READ....there's a ton of info on how this works spread out over these pages. Remember how bad it sucks now....you never want to repeat that. Just remember, nicotine withdrawal has NEVER actually killed anyone.

Now....before you write anything else on your intro page.....GO POST YOUR PROMISE.

The start of day 2. Feeling a bit antsy and this morning I woke up with a bit of a headache. I have work in an hour and a half so hopefully when I'm there I forget about wanting a can!

Hey Keifdawg

Hi I am new to this website. It's been 8 hours now without the can of death. I've been studying my ass off for finals that I have next week. A pretty inconvenient time to quit but the hell with it, all I can do is try! I'm expecting myself to be in the most pissed off mood tomorrow at work. Wish me luck!

Keif
Keif, don't f'n look back no matter how damn stressed you get! You are here, congrats on that step. Now you gotta post roll every damn day and stick to your word. With this simple recipe, you will be quit every day. Send a message if you need any help at all along the way.
finals is just one more lie nicotine has told you to keep your nuts in her pocket. The list of other lies is too long to put here. You're quit now, you've taken back your nuts and she wants em back. Post roll daily and her hand gets stuck in the zipper of quit and she hates that! Every day puts her farther away from you, however, she never leaves. Keep posting roll and keeping her at bay. You can do it and we're here to support you each and every day.

Finals next week is a problem. Finals and nicotine...two problems. Congrats on making a great choice. And to do it right before finals?!! Well that is just guts, that's what that is. I'm pumped just hearing about what you're doing. Post roll, read all you can, and study your ass off. Congrats again!

Welcome to KTC. There is never an Never ever let your guard down, post roll daily (make your promise). Quit for you and you alone and do so with every fiber of your being. It is easy to cave to go back to the addiction but it take a real man or woman to stay quit.

Remember not to be pissed off at anyone but yourself, unless that is someone forced you to take a dip at gunpoint and then you can be pissed at them too.

1 welcome

2 glad you realize it a can of death

3 you will keep making excuses and planning to quit "tomorrow" if you think you are going to find a convenient time to go thru this suck. The best time is right now.

4 Post roll. You need to make a promise that you will not use nicotine in any form for any reason for 24 hours. You already have 8 hours in. Go ahead and commit to the rest of the day. You can do 24 hours....and you will break that down to minutes if you need to. Promise for today and worry about tomorrow when it gets here

5 congrats on being in school

6 nicotine does not make studying easier or the content more interesting

7 finals suck and so does quitting, but guess what.....it will suck until it doesn't, and then it won't!

8 luck has nothing to do with it. you choose to quit minute by minute. Here, we just "DO IT"

9 girls quit hard around here.....don't let a girl quit harder than you. Suck it up boy....the suck is about to set in

10 I'm gonna quit with you. I can't quit for you. None of us can, but we will all quit with you when we have your word for today. There are going to be several hands just reaching out to you to offer help.......you just have to grab one.......just one!
