New Quitter my UN: is kcchief and part of the April 2013 group. 45 male, married, 2 kids, boy 19 girl 15. Live in North Dakota. had a long quit of 2 years, (around 700 day) and was part of the Nov 2007 "shitkickers" group. Have had quite a few questions from others about what happened, honestly i don't think there was just one thing. The '07' group disbanded after about 2 yrs, so I joined another group (knew one of the guys well actually met him here in town, but they were hardened quitters while I was struggling. My health and family is a big reason Im here. I know this site works if you are going to invest hour time. That was the lye i kept on hearing, "I dont have enough time" well thought, I' spend a hell alot of time 0n something that is oing to skell. So I came ack to this site.
Quit Date: 1-1-13

Way to go Dude. I wish I was that smart in Highschool. You'll probably be the first one to cure aids or something along thoes lines. This site is awesome. Get a few phone numbers in your quit group. It really helps to have some one texting you a reminder every now and then.

A promise not kept is the road to exile.

If quitting is cool, consider me Myles Davis.

Unless you bring value onto my 1/2 acre, I don't want to hear it.

Hey Guys,

So I am a high school senior living in the great state of California.  I got into dipping my freshman year of high school and 1 week ago today I began my quitting journey.

The first days were probably the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life... I know I haven't been dipping as long as yall, but my mouth is getting messed up and I don't want to be dependent on tobacco.

Anyway, today I fucked up and bought myself a tin of that nasty bitch Griz Wintergreen....but I got home and decided that I don't need it so I tossed it out.  It felt really good but I knew that I needed help (im trying to quit all by myself, noone knows I dip).

I saw you guys on this website and thought it would be a good community to help me kick my filthy habit.

Anyways, I'll be posting on here a lot because I definitely need help kicking the can.

Thanks For Everything,

Tyson

Your quit decision MUST be 100% your decision. Anything short of that sets you up for failure by allowing your addict brain to blame a given situation as reason for you to go back to the can

What to Expect When You Quit Dipping

This a a NO NICOTINE SITE, period, no discussion.

I dipped for 35 years and used the fake herbal dip to help with the oral fixation. Here is a list of Smokeless non-tobacco alternative

We "Post Roll Call" daily ( our promise to ourselves and to our brothers not to use nicotine today)- We DO THIS DAILY
Make posting roll the first step of your daily proactive quit.Post Roll every day or communicate with someone and have them post via text, email or call. Get as many number of your group as you can and use them frequently. Keep in touch with your quit brothers. Send them a PM, text or call every few days just to keep an open line of communication. Give them your email address. Make it IMPOSSIBLE for you to go a day without several people contacting you all day if you don't post roll.

Where to post roll call: PRE MAR HOF 2013
Thank you for the welcome...

I look forward to getting to know you guys and living a dip-free life....
