Congrats on the 12th floor Gonz! And thanks for all your support!
Just one and you will be back where you started.
And where you started was desperately wishing
you were where you are right now.

Lets see if I can clean my intro a bit since it's been a while. I had been dipping for 15 years or so and I started late,in my mid 30's. Yeah I know I'm a dumb fuck! Like I've said before and I'll say it again I'm an addict first been addicted to one thing or another for over 35 years. Weather it was pot, coke, booze, nicotine it just seemed to be the next thing I did. Luckily I'm also addicted to working out that's one thing I won't stop! I'm 50 so yeah I'm an old fuck too. I have today 92 days clean from the nic bitch! I can't tell you how happy I am to say that! I also know that my quit is still fragile and I need to be mindful of that everyday! People here at KTC are great for the most part, lol. I didn't care for some of the name calling when I first got here but I understand that's part of it,helps weed out the trolls. I was in the Navy for 4 years spent some time with the Marines (Corpsman) got out then joined the Army (medic)in 1990,yup got activated for desert shield/storm. No problem I'm not a hero I was a rear echelon puke! My dad was a hero in my eyes he fought in WWII and was a POW in Germany for a year and 6 mos! Well I spilled some guts here today to tell you a little about me. I appreciate the chance and also the help KTC has given me. I hope I can return the favor.
Thanks for the update gonzo. First of all I appreciate your service to out country. Thanks for sharing your story, they're sometimes hard to admit. I am happy to quit with you in January. 8 more days till the hall for you, congrats!
Awesome intro. I knew there was a reason why I've been posting support roll for you. I just had a feeling that you, Natro, Cindy, and AFA were going to be some super solid quitters. Keep on keepin on.
Thanks guys! One day at a time brothers!

I've been addicted to one thing or another for close to forty years. I come from a long line of addicts as well,my dad,grand-father and so on. Quitting chew this time hasn't been easy and I'm sure will continue to not be easy. The product I believe doesn't matter and I'm not saying it's not deadly it's just the latest thing I became addicted to. I have to watch my personality if you know what I mean. It's too easy for me to become addicted. Thanks to you guys and gals there may be hope for me yet. Fight the good fight!
What product Gonzo?
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

I appreciate your words copingwithoutcopen! I didn't understand about posting roll everyday. I will do my best to become an asset to the site and others who are in the same or similar boat as me. Also I wouldn't have said I quit if I didn't,that only hurts me.
Nice turn-around gonzo, even if it only took you a couple of weeks to get with the program. Looking forward to seeing you on roll call.
