Might be the most pathetic intro I've read.

You stopped posting roll, therefore you didn't "stay loyal" go your group. Judging by your post count I'd wager you barely knew anyone in it anyway. You thought you were cured and then broke when life got hard.

You're an addict. Recognize how serious that is or beat it.
Love the post count metric that my boy Knockout referenced. Minimum is post count should = days quit (I'd argue day's quit +1 to show you posted an intro). That's the absolute minimum, which raises a red flag.

Like KO mentioned, it's abundantly obvious that you stopped posting roll and you weren't all that active. Heck, this is the first post in your intro - meaning you 1) didn't merge your old one or 2) never made one.

Here's the key take-away if I haven't made it obvious yet. Get involved. Accountability will only run as deep as you let it. Make some friends here, exchange numbers, build your quit to the point where the mere thought of stabbing your quit brothers in the back makes you sick to your stomach (i.e. the Clockwork Orange effect).

Never again Hession. Never. Again.
I third KO's review, you didn't learn jack shit last time you used this site to STOP - not quit. What is different this thime?
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

It is not a habit.

You are an addict.

Until you figure that out you will never succeed.

Actually if the first time here for you worked you would still be quit today.....

Alright, joined August, I'll bring up the rear. Where are we answering these three questions at, didn't see it in the August roll calls.
Glad you joined up with August! Great start. We had four new guys post yesterday, so you won't be too far behind.

The Questions:
What happened?
Why did it happen?
What will you do different this time?

You should answer those here, in the August group and probably in your old group as well.

Take your time and answer with genuine reflection. You're going to get tough questions either way, but if you just crap out a few lines per rote, that won't fly. Of course, that always provides some quality 'Popcorn' for the peanut gallery.

You were here for how long and don't know this? Seriously?

What happened?
Why did it happen?
What's going to be different this time?

You answer these in your old group, since you owe them an explanation for caving like a bitch.

And you answer these in your new group so they can see how not to be a fuckup.

Hi all, I am here to admit defeat. I joined this site 5 years ago to help me get nicotine out of my life - and it worked! I stayed loyal to my group and my quit due to the support from this site.

Unfortunately, due to stressors I slowly slipped back into my old habit over the last 6 months. I was pretty upset about it but kept shoving it in my mouth. All the familiar disgusting traits came back, stained teeth, hiding it at work, falling asleep with it in, eating more crap, nasty spit cups in my clean truck,, etc etc.

So, I manned up and came back with my tail between my legs.. I threw my cans in the trash this AM and will be posting roll again for the first time tomorrow morning with the Sept group. In retrospect, instead of pulling into the gas station for a can 6 months ago I should of logged in here.

Looking forward to quitting with the Sept team.
Post up today with August. We've got a great group of folks to support and pull you through any shit in your life.

I can tell you from experience with these guys. It's a great fucking group. Don't leave things to chance. Sack up and post today!!

These answers are bullshit.

Post up a day 1. Today.

Putting it off just shows that you're still not serious about this.

What was SO stressful that you couldn't take 2 minutes to log in here and reach out to someone? The answer is nothing. There's no excuse other than you didn't want to stay quit.

Get serious and quit this time.

Tomorrow will be my first clean 24hr day, and August is on their last day so I want to come in clean with the Sept group on Day 1.
Start today. There are 40 guys in August that will be there to help you quit. If you start in September, you'll be answering your three questions to an audience of no one and will have no support until that group starts to form.

The only reason for putting it off is because you don't want us coming down on you due to the cave and you think you might not have it as bad if you "come in clean" with a virgin Sept. group.

Nut up. Roughly 1 in 4 of August is made up of guys who have had to restart. There will be a whole heap of shit given, but if you take it, learn from it and then show up EDD, you'll never have a better support system.

Figure out if you want this.
Hession, Post up today with us in the August Group. We don't put off quitting, you know that better than me based on your history with the prior quit. Post roll today, answer the three questions and lets get QUIT together.

You left the door open for her the last time and look what happened... she got her claws in deep. Again.

Shut the door.

Do this today.

And... your excuses suck. I have stress and have never gone back to the can.
Dig deeper...

What happened?
Why did it happen?
What will you do different this time?
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.
