Hey G. Great decision on quitting. I also started when I was playing ball in high school as well(hence the screen name). Let me tell ya, I would give almost anything to go back in time and never have taken that first dip. 20 years later, my teeth and gums aren't the prettiest thing you'll ever see. So, stick with this quit, or before you know it, 15 more years will fly by and you'll still be cramming that shit in your face. PM me if ya need anything.
So true! but you may turn around and realize 35 years have passed and youre still stuffing that deadly shit in your face. STAY QUIT

What's up guys. Im 19 and been dipping since i was 15. I know thats not a long time compared to a lot of the guys, but I've been doing a can a day the past year and I'm ready to quit this shit. Tried a few times the past year but didn't make it any longer than a week or two. Its the first thing i do in the morning, what i do in my all my classes, pretty much what i do during everything. I ran across this site somewhere during one of those quits. I play baseball for my college, and went through a can and half of grizz wintergreen today during one of my games. If that wasn't enough, had to have one more tonight after dinner, and the look my girlfriend gave me was the last straw. April 2nd is my first day quit. Looking forward to quitting with and getting to know you guys.
Welcome, it is the best decision you will ever make. Let me say your story is very similar to mine. I am 19 myself and was given a can of poison when 16. I quit for a couple weeks before I wnet to play baseball in North Carolina. The stuff was so cheap there everyone did it. I picked right back up, and did it all the way up to last week. Its day 5 tobacco free for me and it feels a little bit better everyday.
You are at the right place, age doesn't matter here. These guys all just want to help you.
First thing to do is check out the welcome center and get an idea of what goes on.
welcome center

Second thing you are going to want to do is find your quit group, your in July like me.
quit group

Post Roll daily
Keep your promise to youself and us to stay Tobacco and Nicotine free
Do it again the next day

Any question send me a message
Another thing that you should do is get this guys number so you can hold each other accountable.

You both have similar experiences and are going throught the same life stages so it might be beneficial for you guys to buddy up in July.

I have been trolling your group since it started so I will be keeping an eye on you guys.

Pm me if you have any questions.

Post, Quit, Repeat.
Like Timpy said if you are having a hard time just send me a message I'll give you my number. We are all one team here, not to many guys can get through this alone. I know I have tried before and failed many times. Just make sure you keep posting roll and the first few days stuck by the site for support.
Great job on posting roll for day 1.

Hopefully you have gotten some fellow quitters numbers. If you haven't yet make sure you do it. Also try to compete with your fellow quitters. See who can post first, or get involved in the wildcard section.

The more involved you are, the better off you will be.
