Get your ass back here and posting roll.  I need someone to look at this spot on my shlong.  Based on your name, you're the only one here qualified to inspect it.
That's because he's been screwing horses. Diesel, no wonder you had that anxiety, you lost your horse. I got a sheep you can have, she's clean.
 Busted.
He promised me the sheep. Then one day WT hit it with his truck. I believe she is clean but she is damaged by WT's driving. You heard of car fax? This is sheep fax. Good luck.

All things are created twice. Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise. Post roll everyday.

Horse vet,, I see you posted finally.

Got one question,, how important is this quit?? You got to rrrreeeeeelllllly waaant ittt. I've seen a lot come and go. If you really want this make it the most important thing in your life. If you do everything else will benefit. The poison does not play. If you aren't arming yourself with the tools necessary to defeat it it's just a matter of time. I quit with your brother!!! Get your head in the game!

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

I truly believe that I will have the necessary tools from this forum to help me stay mentally strong so that I may quit for good.
Do you truly believe this? I mean - do you HONESTLY - Deep in you HEART - Believe that you will have the necessary tools from this forum to remain quit?

I question you because you're not using the tools. Where is your roll call today? We need your promise that you will NOT touch nicotine today. YOU need to make that promise. YOU NEED to make that promise.

The tools on this site work only if you use them. My circular saw works fine. But if I don't USE it nothing gets cut. If you don't USE your this site nothing get quit.

Come on man. Getcher ass back in here.
Per034 makes a good point about USING the tools. They're worthless if you don't use them.

I don't know what (if anything) you've been doing behind the scenes here as far as making contact with other quitters, but the numbers on your profile tell the story.

One post was your intro, so that leaves only 3. That is far less than awe-inspiring. It's downright weak. There is great support and powerful tools here, but you gotta put out a little effort yourself.

Welcome to the site Horse Vet.

The bad news is that I don't think the cravings ever truly go away. The good news is that you can beat the cravings down and every time you do you get stronger and better at quitting than before.

Post roll every day and honor your word.

That's pretty much what it boils down to. Do that and you've got this.

Pm me if you need anything.

Welcome horse vet. Great to have you. I noticed you already made it over to post roll. Awesome!! That is where there is a bunch of awesome quitters like yourself that are taking there life back one day at a time.

Now that the poison is out of your system it's the mind games now. It does get easier and easier as you keep adding 1's. Erussell hit the nail on the head when he said read, read and read. Learn your enemy. It makes the battle so much easier when you know what your up against. I quit with you brother. If you need anything pm me.

Congratulations! You're quit and it's all over! The cans are locked away and the key is at the bottom of the fucking ocean! Nice work. Done for good! Feels kinda nice, eh? Now you get to bear down and deal with the mind games. The vets (and even some of the newbies) on this site will get you squared away (posting roll, accountability, etc.). PM me for a number. I'll gladly give you mine (and so will anyone else you reach out to) and help in any way possible. Create a network. Get to know people and this will all become "real". You'll be throwin up +1's like a badass in no time flat. You'll be laughing at the nic bitch as you drown her in the bathtub. You've come to the right place, man. Once you cut through the fog you'll find a new life waiting for you on the other side (not to be overly dramatic or anything). Congrats, and STAY QUIT!
So, you see, the puppy was like industry, in that they were both lost in the woods. And nobody, especially the little boy - "society" - knew where to find 'em. Except that the puppy... was a DOG. But the industry, my friends, THAT was a revolution.

you got this horse vet...believe it or not the hard part is over as long as you haven't had any nic for the past few days (gum, patch etc). The nic bitch is a tricky one and she's playing mind games with you right now and she's LOUD! But i promise, she will quiet down. One day at a time my man. She won't ever go away but neither will we
Boy I sure could use a beer right about now!

So I made the decision to quit dipping for good on 5/31/13. I have been dipping for about the last 10 years. I have my first child on the way and wanted to quit so I could be around for him for many years.

The first three days were rough but I got through them. The next few days the cravings became less intense and frequent. But the last couple of days they have been getting bad again. I found the fake stuff, which helps, but it still not the same. I was looking up how long these cravings would last (I know nic is out of your system after 3 days) and I came across this website. After reading all the awesome info on the website, I figured I could give it a try. We all need help getting through difficult times. Seeing all the people that have struggled just as I am is helping to give me the strength to fight off the cravings.

I want to say thank you for letting join this group. I truly believe that I will have the necessary tools from this forum to help me stay mentally strong so that I may quit for good. Thank you again.
