Bro. Dont worry about this being your last chew EVER. Just worry about making it to tomorrow. That's the key attitude to have around here. Just quit for today...then tomorrow, do it again, and so on.

Thinking about FOREVER regarding ANYTHING is pretty daunting. When I think about the fact that my wife will be the only woman I bang FOREVER, I get a bit depressed (I can only imagine how she feels). However if she wanted to GET. IT. ON. Tomorrow, I would be excited just like the previous thousands of times I've given her the best 4 inches of her life, because I'm living in the NOW and not thinking about FOREVER.

Perhaps not a great example but trying to deviate a bit from the canned responses you will surely get.

Seriously though...read the welcome center at the top left of this page and read up on how to post role. In a nutshell, each morning you post a promise to yourself, your quit group, and every man, woman, and he-she on this site that you will not use nicotine of any kind for just that day. Once you make it through that day...do it again the next day, etc...

Sounds easy, but I think you know it will not be, but do know it will be always be worth it.

Also, you never quit before...you just stopped for a bit. If you really had quit...you wouldn't be here.

But...you are.

Welcome.
Ok so I lied I am going to post on your board :P

To add to the above. Come here to rage because you are going to need an out let please dont let that outlet be your wife or baby girl!!!!!!! They dont understand what is going on we do!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all, My name is Sam and I took my last chew EVER today. I chewed for 20+ years and quit for 3 years but for some reason I started back up about 2 years ago 'bang head' . Quitting the first time was hard and I figure it will be much harder this time so I would need support. I am tired of having all of the same worries that I had for 20 years all over again. I am tired of hiding it from my wife and 5 year old daughter. I vow on this day July 15, 2013 to NEVER chew again. 'finger point' . Thanks in advance for all of your support.

Sincerely,
Sam
