Thank you all for your responses. Incidentally, I didn't quit on my own - I recalled the words of the great Martin Luther: 'Pray, and let God worry'. One does not need to be a Lutheran - or any other kind of Christian - to appreciate the sentiment.
I prayed up my nicotine addiction to the Supreme Deity, and walked with Him for my first month. It was recently that the Supreme Deity told me that He had given me enough Divine Power to maintain my quit forever. But...there's a catch. I have to network with other quitters, get some accountability partners, pray for His daily guidance first thing every morning, and - when I'm ready - teach others how to become and stay free from the dip can. So I did some research, and found this community.
Well, that's it for now. It's late and I'm tired. I'm going to go to bed soon, then back to post roll tomorrow morning. See y'all then.
