I'm new to this process of posting. So bear with me. I have been trying to quit for about a year now. I did quit for a year about 4 years ago. And just went back to it. I have chewed for 20 years. And want to quit for me and my family. I tried to stop last wednesday with lsome success until the next evening when I had anxiety about not having chew. That was when I remembered that my wife hid a can of chew from me years ago. I found it opened it and it was all dried out. I didn't care I put some in. The next day I added water to it because I told myself I was not going to buy another can.  By Monday I realized that I needed help and motivation and I found this site. So here I am. Just a hog and potato grower needing to quit. Thanks

Hey @Sm potatoes.  Welcome aboard man.  Your story is very similar to most here.  The foundation of this site is to post roll (sign your name) and promise not to use nicotine ODAAT (one day at a time).  Do not think about tomorrow, next week, this summer, the 4th...JUST TODAY.  Your quit group is June '20 (it will be June when you get through your first 100 days).  Here's the link: https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16357.0.
There's lots more to say but in good time.  Until then, keep that shit out of your mouth any way you can.  Get on here and read as much as possible...learn about your enemy and how the site works.  Drinking lots of water and exercising as much as possible helps most of us get through the suck.

You can do this man.  Private message me if I can be of any help.  Hold the line brother.

@Sm potatoes great to see you. Wake up, piss, and post your promise every morning. Keep your promise and then repeat the next day. Check your messages as fellow quitters will be reaching out. Only exchange digits through messages and not on the forum or here in the intro section. You can do this and we are here to help.
