that is so funny...i have a flashlight in the bathoom as we speak. thxs for encouragement
Having sores in your mouth after you quit is normal because the pH of your mouth is beginning to change back to normal. As long as you've been checked out by the docs you should be ok. Just keep yearly checkups on it.
Quit with extreme prejudice...
My orders say I'm not supposed to know where I'm taking this quit, so I don't! But one look at you and I know its gonna be hot!

hey guys just a quick question. dont know if you are or have been in my situation. been to a dentist, ent, and maxilofacial guy and all have checked me out and given the ok but i still freak out about every little thing in my mouth now and just cant get the big C out of my head. I have been lucky with cravings in the fact ive only had one major one and that was when i was drinking lol. its the anxiety that gets me. I still fear the worse, im on the great world wide web looking all the time or maybe because my wifey is about to bring a baby in the world...ahhh who knows. if u have any suggestions it would be great

thanks
nick

3 months dip free and 25 lbs heavier...oh yeah
You have done what you can do. Keep going to the dentist annualy and getting checked. You will need to find a way to handle your anxiety. For me exercise has been huge.

I used to wake up every morning and get a flashlight and inspect my mouth and just like you when I found something in there I would freak. I went to the dentist and doctor more in my first 200 days of being quit than I had the previous 20 years. Every time I went they would tell me the same thing.. You are fine.

My anxiety was nuts for about 250 days or so. It has gotten much better now. Keep fighting and stay clean. It does get better.

STAY QUIT

Welcome to the site.

Do you plan on posting roll every day or are you just window shopping for quit?
Not sure what your intentions are here....

I am glad to hear your dip free though.

guess i should tell you that i was dipping for about 13 years. started in college playing baseball. started with skoal, then coppy, then grizzly, and finished with griz pouches for the last 3 years. one day i woke up and basically scared myself to death. been to the dentist, maxil facial guy, and ent and have gotten the ok been very lucky not even a cavity. but still freak out about every little thing in my mouth now , my anxiety is ridiculous. so finding this place has been a great. we all have our reasons for quitting and mine is the fact im having a baby girl and want to be here for her. so again as i said in my first post keep plugging away and if you need my help just let me know, because im sure i will need yours.
