Dudes,

We're all fucking addicts to the nicotine and whatever else you're using!!!
Don't be a fucking pussy or a child, be a man and quit making excuses for "not" posting roll.
Posting roll is powerful and you know it, or you wouldn't be acting like the "special butterfly" that you aren't.
We post roll every day even when we don't "FEEL" like it.
We go to work every day even when we don't "FEEL" like it.
We ... get the picture brothers before the nic takes years away from your life, because it does kill everyone in its own way...whether quickly like some or slowly by trimming off 10 - 40 years of a life...a life that was my Dad's and my Mom's...so when you're feeling like a special butterfly, look up and read some real life "HORROR" happenings of real folks that suffered from nic use.
BTW, in my humble opinion, (based on my moms and her family's death), I believe that mixiing alchohol and nicotine will kill you very quickly...
i.e. My mom and all of her siblings died in their 50's and 60's...except one and that one never smoked or drink in her life....12 siblings in all.....

Get quit brothers, stay quit and save a jaw by sharing your experience with a poor sleeping soul addicted to nic.
Cheers to all who quit, shame to all who take it lightly, enlightenment to all who are using.
Keeping my jaw and tongue...I like them.
It's poison I tell ya, You wouldn't drink Liquid Drano, would ya?

Uhhhh.....not to be the wet blankly here, but neither of you two have ever quit before.  There is no  2nd quit, or 3rd, whatever.   You only paused a while in between dips.

Having said that,  welcome aboard.  great decision to take off nic's leash.  I HIGHLY recommend you read everything you can in the welcome center, and the Words of Wisdom, then move on to the HOF speeches.

you can do this.  There is nothing to "think" about.  Just choose to quit.  Do not try to quit.

PM me if I can help with anything.
Lol. Your definitely not being the wet blanky. Lol. One thing I've discovered by coming back is that the support feels a little different. Perhaps it's because I caved after a few years. Well I'm not going to cave this time. I'm mentally prepared more now than ever. This site may not be the thing for me. Not really feeling the whole good vibe so I probably won't post roll tomorrow. I will post in the future and let the couple guys I know what's up. I'm done with the nic. I'll post on my calendar at home. Thanks again for allowing me to come post here though. I truly wish the best for all the new quits. Later all!!!

Ken, I understand what you're saying. I do. I'm not busting your chops, I just don't want you to have an unrealistic expectation of what is considered "support" at KTC, vs what your family/friends consider support, or even what QS considers "support.".

In a nutsac, we at KTC tend to believe that support is asking you to justify logically a decision that has led many a brother into relapse. Sometimes that process is ugly. Most of our families simply WILL NOT confront our poor decisions, or even ask us to think about them. They will pat us on the back when we make statements like "that's it, I'm gonna quit when this can is empty." but they will keep to themselves the thought that you are probably full of shit.

BTW, you will get the "pat on the ass" positive reinforcement here's well. You'll initially overlook it, though, because you are used to people patting you an the ass. You will overlook it because you are not used to people telling you what they are really thinking. You are not used to people that put your quitting over hurting your feelings.

Do people go to far here sometimes when trying to tear down some statement? Yep. Has your family and friends ever gone to far building up some positive but logically and historically bull shit affirmation? Mine did.
I bolded and enlarged the most laughable sentence in your post. If you need good vibes to post roll then you clearly don't appreciate the fundamental aspect of posting roll and the promise it entails. You make a promise on an internet forum to a bunch of people you'll most likely never meet in person that you'll remain quit for one day. It may sound absurd to you, but that promise has far greater implications than a singular promise to yourself jotted down on some calendar. If you could keep a promise to yourself that you'd stay quit each day then you wouldn't be worrying about quitting, right?

Good vibes or not, it's in your best interest to have your name on that roll page today and to keep your promise. Repeat tomorrow.

Oh so if I'm not feeling "good vibes" I can just choose not to post roll the next day but probably do so in the future? Just posting on my fridge calendar and letting a few guys know what's up is how this site works now? I thought posting roll and giving your word every day was the foundation this site was built on. I guess I was wrong. I mean its not like you caved or anything, so you would know best. Good example for the newbies, well done.

Not sure why ive been in a fighting mood lately and I might be running my mouth too much but...if you're not sure the sites for you, not feeling the good vibes, and will post roll when you feel like it. Hit the bricks and just post on your rainbows and unicorns calendar at home. It will no doubt provide you with the accountability needed to remain quit.

Thanks for the reply. I tried some Motrin today, and it cleared my head right up. The best way I could explain it to my wife was that it felt like I had a constant hangover. Here's to another day of freedom. :D
