Hey yote, welcome to KTC and congratulations on your decision to quit. You've come to the right place for support. As the others have mentioned, posting roll daily is a key element to our quit. It's a promise, not just to ourselves, but to this community, that we will not use nic in any form that day. When those cravings hit, this promise has been for me the first thing that I reach for. I was a cope long cut user, and I haven't found any of the fake stuff that replicates that flavor very well. Maybe that's for the best, I don't know. But oddly enough, I have found that Jake's straight mint works for me. YMMV. Hey, another key element is to get phone numbers (digits) for several of the guys so that you can reach out via text or phone if you need some 'right now' support. If you want mine, shoot me a PM.

Note to gb321: When I was right about where you are now was the worst period for me since I quit. You'll be happy to know that it's not fatal and you'll come through it.

I quit with both you guys today.

First off, welcome. You're making a great choice, I am going through the worst I've felt in a while, but it all gets better. You can do this and you will succeed if you stay connected and updated on this site. Post roll every day and do whatever it takes to keep that stuff out of your mouth, use seeds, gum, alternatives, coffee, whatever it takes. Just keep any tobacco or nicotine product out of your mouth. Stay quit you won't regret it. PM me for digits or if you need any help. Enjoy it. June 2015 we can do this!

^^^ YES ^^^ Whatever it takes as long as there is no nic...this includes all tobacco, pill, pouches, and other bullshit that contains nic.

Advice - learn how and why we post roll. Then do it. If you need help, just post here that you need help. Another bad ass quitter or one of the mods will help you out. There is no shame in asking for help...especially when you're in the fog. I think I forgot my own name for a few days?

Keep a good attitude and take note of the heroic shit you're doing here. You're saving a life...your own. Take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. You got this!!!

Finally gonna quit. Been chewing off and on since 7th grade. Over the years it's gotten worse and worse. A few back I started Cope pouches and now realize into my 2nd day, that I must have had one in about 95% of my awake time. This, I think about it inadvertantly about every 2 minutes. I cannot believe how much of my life is tied to it, wow it's pathetic. Does anyone have advice on the alternatives like Hooch. I'm thinking something to occupy my mouth would help, but maybe it's better to just be done. Sure would be nice to have around though for golf and fishing in case the urge is there and a buddy has cope.
Hooch spitfire is great. I liked grinds as well in the early days. There are differing camps on using fake, but I am squarely in the camp that whatever it takes to keep that shit out of your mouth. I used it regularly early in my quit and now I go weeks without even thinking about it. It's not addictive, just a tool to help with triggers.

I'll be ordering it again soon to have some ready for baseball and fishing season. No shame in exploring all of the tools at your disposal. There are some coupons/reviews out on the main page as well, but hooch spitfire is my favorite and I've tried most all of them
