So KTC isn't your cup of tea. Who gives a shit? You announced shortly after day 30 that you were ready to move on, and you did. Why the sudden need for a status update some 40-50 days later?

The whole constructive criticism thing goes both ways, bub. If you think we could do things better, or at least be more multi-faceted and inclusive, then you need to be here. Perhaps this excerpt from KTC's mission statement explains my exit from roll but not the site. I've moved my posts here as to not "poison" your quit as you have put it.

You were all so busy pissing on my shoes you failed to see any reasoning behind my departure. I tried it your way and it wasn't for me. I tried to be civil when I left and your reaction is one, but not the only reason for leaving. This Forum is to closed for my tastes, seeing someone's name and a number next to it doesn't really tell me anything about you or your quit. Having to post in the same spot as roll makes threads hard to find and follow, and makes posting roll harder as well. Why not have two places to post for each quit group? One for roll and one for discussions.

Also I wasn't really down with giving my phone number out to a bunch of strangers. I told a few people about this site and they all asked me the same question, what is this site all about? All they took away from it was posting roll and found little else. I have to say I agree with them.

Now you might ask why do I care, or why should we give a fuck you left. I said I was done with roll and you guys closed that door. For everyone of you that blasted me on the board I got at least that many PM's saying stay strong and quit your way.

As good as this site is roll shouldn't be the one and only thing worthwhile on it. That's just my opinion, take it or leave it doesn't matter. But not being able to take constructive criticism without flaming out doesn't help your quit group or the site.

I give it a 34 Dick, it's diction was good, but the message was weak, and it was hard to dance to. I hope the band stays quit, but I'd let Chubby Checker do the twist on my backside for flapjack money before I adhere to that philosphy.

The vets here will tell you that plenty others have tried to quit on their own and have failed. You are just following in their footsteps.

To each their own, if you are so quit that you don't need a number next to your name good for you. I myself learned early on that it was not merely my name with a number next to it. What I learned is that each day I posted roil I was making a promise to myself, I was making a promise to anyone who read my name and number, I was making a promise to my fellow quitters. Please also note that my fellow quitters were not merely the guys in October 2013 HOF Group but rather any quitter on KTC because your quit group is KTC as a whole not merely your initial quit group.

Granted each and every quitter has to choose to take what works and leave the rest so as I have said before you are a big boy and can make your own choices. I hope your choice works out for you in the long run as I really want to see people quit I don't care how you do it just do it.

To each their own, but please also notice that there are several other items on on the KTC site that go well beyond just the minimums of posting roll daily when you get bored.

Do I think its wise to stop posting roll after 30 days because its "enough"? no.. I don't.. I don't think its wise at all..

Many a good quitter has had the misfortune of living through the suck again only because they couldn't commit to the daily posting. Hell it has worked for me thus far and I happen to think that the 2.3 seconds it take me to post roll form a phone or the 1.8 seconds from a computer daily is worth the rest of my life. Not to mention saving $5 to 7 a day is also a nice perk too. I choose life today, hope you come around arifleman...
