I had those symptoms on and off, and well past day 9, as I recall. Hang in there! You'll be fine.

O...H...
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Ignoring history or erasing history fixes nothing and leads you inevitably down the same path.-69franx 04/30/2021

Very typical I had the same, drove me insane. Your body is healing, it will take time.
Are you on roll yet? Post here: May 2016
If not what will keep you from using again when your throat and jaw feel better?

Ok sounds good. I will look into that. Thanks for the response. Day 9, by far the worst day so far for me
Don't think about it dude - just do it. Even if you waste some time over the next 100 days - wouldn't you rather ensure your decision sticks? You feel strong about it now, but in another month who knows. That is why I bought in - decision is of course yours but I'd encourage you to just do it...

I'm day 10 and have a full on throat infection - although my wife has the throat infections also - and it's super disconcerting with all kinds of concerns running through my head. As has been said elsewhere here - you've been stuffing this crap into your face for years and when you just up and quit everything *may* freak out a bit initially.

Hello! On day 9 without snuff. I'm doing pretty good except for intermittent sore throats as well as dull ear/jaw pain over the last 3 days. Are these normal symptoms as well? Thank you
All normal stuff man. It takes awhile to heal our bodies and minds from the abuse of nicotine addiction. Congrats on 9 days. Why not jump in all the way? Join your quit group in May 16 and start building a support web. It makes quitting easier and a lot more fun!
