Congrats on posting day 2.
Noticed you mentioned hard candy. Brother you eat anything available that is slower than you these first few days.
You have alot of support in May and you have mine if you need it.
Quit with you today.
I believe.....

A lot of great advice and bass ass quitters posting on your intro.

Read as much as you can, drink water and then drink more water- it'll help clean out the poisons and toxins. Use your intro to write about what you are going through- especially how you feel the next few days as your body goes through withdrawal.

Post roll. Make that promise every day that you aren't going to use nicotine in any form and then be a man of your word. Wake up, piss, post roll.

Put as much effort into your quit as you did feeding your addiction and I guarantee you can remain quit. Just like you stuffed your face with poison cat turds every day, stuff your brain with quit every damn day.

You can do this.

Welcome D.O.T.
I hope you are ready to "hunker down". If you are you will find much support here to help (and sometimes push) you through.

I assume your dawgs are of the red and black variety. If you are nearby the classic city let me know. I'll point you toward the local retailers of herbal snuff (fake dip) and help you any other way I can.

Get ready for this dog fight. It's worth it I promise you.

Welcome The D.O.T.!

It is going to suck before it gets better. We're not going to lie to you. But it does get better and you are going to need to be strong as fuck.

It is time to get your shit together my friend. Make sure you have your supplies; gum, hard candy, fake dip, etc. We want you to succeed in this! You are going to kick ass!

Take every crave and turn it around;"is that all you got?". Stay strong.

PM me if you want my number. You have a huge group of awesome people behind you supporting your quit! Quit today, wake up and quit tomorrow. I quit with you!

Hello All-

I wanted to introduce myself... I've been using smokeless tobacco since i was 15.... I am 25 now. My blood pressure is way too high for my age, and my Dr. thinks quitting would help.

I've never tried to quit.. I've always enjoyed Cope... which i'm sure all of you have. This is also a habit I hide from many people... It isn't something that is accepted in my line of work. Overall it has a negative effect on my life for many reasons other than my health.

Personal story- I'm sure i'm not the only one, but I can't remember the last shower I had without a dip in.... I put one in without realizing it... I actually threw one in... while in the "heat of the moment" with a female companion heading to the shower. She had no clue I dipped... I grabbed my can from under my night stand on the way to the shower and put one in without thinking.. We don't speak anymore...

With that said, I want to quit for me... I don't want to hide it from the women I date anymore... Please feel free to give me any tips, advice, or encouragement along the way... I dumped 3 cans of Cope in the toilet a few hours ago, and I found this site... My journey starts tomorrow.

Thanks,

DawgsOnTop

Looks like Copenhagen is on top....
She has been doing you in the shower!
Been having her way with you for 10 years.
Brother she has made you a "lieing" addict. And sounds like your proud of it.
I'm curious still in why you are quiting? You say it's for you... Why?
Post roll tomorrow morning...
Then come back and explain why you need to quit other than high blood pressure, girls and work.
Congrats on your decision... Now explain it too me.
I want to help you quit.

Great decision to quit chewing! Read everything on the site. get over to May 2015 and post roll call!
A couple a modifications to your train of thought:
*Don't romanticize chew/cope it is a evil, poisonous substance, it has control your life for 10 years
*This isn't a habit, it is an addiction. A habit is picking your nose

Proud to quit with you, see you on roll tomorrow
