Seen you posting in Feb. Keep it up man. Pride vs. regret. Every morning looking in the mirror, what do you want? Don't let yourself down.

Just in case anyone was curious, it has stopped... I guess it was just a healing thing... I used to, as most of you probably did, push the dip around with my tongue. I assume my tongue was feeling weird due to healing. I have a dentist appointment in December for my semi annual cleaning.
Good to hear. Make sure you don't let that be an excuse to use nicotine. The shit will kill you.

Quit on brother.

It doesn't hurt or swell or anything... It is just like tenses up... No lumps or anything that would be a sign of cancer or other disease either... It is just odd and i thought one of you guys on here may of had something similar
Put that spasm tongue tip to good use on the ol' lady and make a dental appointment. A pre-cancer screening should be on every quitters to do list. Pre-quitters have a way of avoiding the dentist out of guilt and that can be dangerous. Just the tip, you speak my language.

I also wanted to ask you guys... When you quit did your tongue spasm? Mine will sometimes just contract and tighten up sometimes like a muscle spasm, just at the tip.... anyone else experience that? It has happened on my previous stoppages and is still happening on my quit now.
I haven't heard of that, maybe you should see a doctor.
yeah, sounds weird! Don't let GMANN know about that condition!

I used the patch for 30 days before I grew a set of balls, so gratz to you for tearing off the band-aid sooner!

NO MORE GRIZZLY
« on: November 03, 2014, 10:42:00 AM »
Guys, I know some of you have already seen and talked to me, but i want to do a formal introduction for all. It all started in the high school locker room with the 'boys'. We would take dips in the locker room thinking it was cool and got the body buzz. Like many of you the addiction started there and I chewed Grizzly Wintergreen daily ever since then for the last 9-10 years. Of course, it started gradually and now I am completely hooked.

I have attempted to quit a couple times in the last couple years. However, I always used aides like the patch or gum, but I soon found out how useless those are after a couple weeks. The best way is to actually quit is to kick the nic bitch out completely and that landed me to this site. You guys have all been great already and i am looking forward to sharing my quit with all of you and sharing my experience with the newcomers in the future.

I started out on the patch for the first two days... That is when I realized I will never kick the can if i keep using that bullshit crutch that only pulls you along. I wanted to actually kick the nicotine completely, so I did! On October 30th, I officially had no nicotine at all. Marking my first day quit. A couple days into my quit I was searching the internet for timelines of what to expect when i came along this site. I joined and have posted roll for two days now and been on chat off and on a lot as well. This site has given me a lot of confidence to fight for what I truly want. Thanks for the support guys and I am looking forward to typing up my HOF speech!
