Day 1/2. Hello everyone. I was here without posting or contributing in September 2007. I was able to quit for over a year until December 2008, when I deployed to Iraq. The decision to start again was about the weakest moment of my life. Since starting again, my usage has grown to two full cans of skoal mint long cut per day. Its like I have become obsessed with it. I now have two children ages 1 and 3, and it kills me now that my 3 year old is starting to notice that I do it.
Very smart of you to get back in here. I heard on the Radio that there is a big problem with returning vets and addiction. Makes me sad that they fight for freedom and become enslaved themselves.
You have a personal war you just declared today. I stand and support you but you are going to have to fight for your freedom.
It is a simple strategy. Post roll every "Today", Keep your promise not to chew for the day. Never sweat tomorrows battle until it's Today again.
If you need support, pm me and I will give you my number. I will step in and crush nicotine's skull.
Your kids need a dad that will keep his word. They feel safer and protected when their dad is not hiding in addiction.
Next to following this program, read, read read and stay actively involved with quitters. If we can do it, any addict can too. Its not easy to do but if you follow the plan, its impossible to lose. IMPOSSIBLE!!!
