Great Stuff Northern! It really does get easier doesnt it?

When the September group opens up, get in there, post support of the newbies. Grab a newbie here in introductions, be a champion to him.

It strengthens your own quit tenfold.

'always in motion is the future'

Proud to be quit with you today!

Congrats man on making the decision to quit. we are all addicts - that unknowingly fell into this trap (even though we knew it was addictive and harmful... I had no idea i was that addicted to this shit until i went to quit it for realz this time) I am now 67 days clean and I won't be the first or last to tell you - it can be a real struggle fighting back this bitch we call Nic. I remember when waking up, one of my first thoughts was my eagerness to put in a dip at my desk at work. so crazy. and I still think about it every day, but i'm also getting my first real tastes of freedom since I was a teenager.

You're lucky to be ridding yourself of this deathtrap now. keep on quittin' brother.

Hey Northern! Keep up the great work!! I'm 8 days quit myself. I started dipping with pouches and always thought they were "safe" but that essentially led to dipping long cut and well, being an addict. While I don't have kids, I do understand hiding from my wife to sneak a dip in and making sure I didn't leave any spitters lying around. What a pain in the ass! We can do this together, brotha! I quit with you today! 'Cheers'

Another day is almost in the books. A few stronger cravings kicked up today...hardest one was just after supper. But, I grabbed my son and we went for a bike ride together around the countryside. That sure beats grabbing a dip and hiding from him, hoping not be be found...while I get my fix.

So glad to be here quitting with all of you.
That's it, man. White knuckling through a crave is a pain in the ass. Far better to do exactly what you did... redirect. Just get off your ass and blast through it.

Keep rockin', bro.
This is beautiful - that one small victory can be the first of thousands of moments like that. Well done brother.
Don't be afraid.  You are not alone.

Day 9 begins. I love not having to worry if I have hidden all the tons of chew, and the spitters. I live not worrying that my son would find them. I love not chewing. After a meal or while having a beer, small cravings come on, but I redirect my thinking, have a piece of gum, and they subside.

Bring on double digit quit days tomorrow!
Well done Northern....
How about lets also try a double on posting roll.
Noticed you have only posted roll one time.

The cost of admission here is posting roll everyday.

Your an addict.
Im an addict.
Addicts need accountability.
We are held accountable by making a promise early everyday!
Sounds crazy at first....but... It is the heartbeat of any quit here.
And if your hearts not beating......
Your a temporary dead man walking.
Post Roll.....

I had the same vice - those damn pouches. Keep on quitting every damn day and stay positive like you are. It truly is a great feeling to not feel like the nic bitch isn't controlling your schedule, isn't controlling your brain and isn't controlling your life.
A)... Not a vice or habit. It's an addiction and the sooner you accept that, the stronger your quit will become.

B)... Northern, buddy, we're stoked that you're quit but... we're not over fond of status updates. This site, this method, really only works when you become involved and post your quit roll daiy with your group. We do this together because, face it, we all sucked at doing it on our own. We all do this together because each one, helps one.

You wanna step it up?... Do it our way.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.
