Hey Gobux. You are definitely in the right place. Yes the body will react quickly and strangely to the lack of nicotine. Nicotine is a powerful stimulant. It keeps the body reved up all the time. And in the absence of this stimulant, the body wants to rest and recover. Get all the sleep you can. It will be good for you. Also, being well rested during this time will really help the awake hours go smoother.

The March 2014 Quit group will be your group. You need to get over there and start posting roll. Do it early every day. Make that promise. Keep it for the day. Go to sleep. Wake up and do it again. You can do it. Check your inbox. Get all the contacts you can. We quit together.

Go to your inbox. Upper right corner. Call for any reason. Just make sure you never put nicotine into your body each day. You are in for a helluvaa ride the first little while. Nut up!
It does get better. You have to keep that stuff out of your body and you will begin to heal. It's an awesome process. We abused our bodies for so long, ye t in just a few agonizing days you will notice the healing starting .Quit on my brother we are all here for you.

Embrace the fog and the sleep. I tried to enjoy it rather than hate it. It is just annoying now because it comes back at times when I least expect it and it's just strong enough to piss me off. Full on Fog???? Bring it on, I can sleep with the best of em...

Bro congrats on the best decision of your life. This is gonna be hell for a few days as it is more than a habit, it's an addiction to one of the most addictive substances known to man. Unfortunately it will forever be an addiction no matter how long your are quit. Thus we quit ODAAT here and we post our promise to one another the we will not use nicotine in any form for any reason all day. Get over to March and post up. Also go read all you can in the welcome center, it will better explain what I am trying to say. Erussell day 225

Introduction
« on: December 10, 2013, 08:07:00 PM »
I have chewed Skoal or Silvercreek Finecut Wintergreen for 25 years, at least one can a day. When I was young I didn't think much about the physical harm it could cause but as I have grown older those thoughts came to the forefront more and more. I am tired of worrying about the potential harmful effects that tobacco can cause. The "enjoyment" has been diminished for me because I am thinking more and more about how stupid and risky this habit really is.

This is day two for me. I quit yesterday Monday December 9th - my youngest daughter's 5th birthday (I knew I would remember this date).

Right now the worst part is how exhausted I am! I can't stay awake. I have that "fog" that others have referred to on here.

Glad to have found this site! Seems to be a lot of great people!
Thank you for reading.
