Matt, I used for 17 years, quitting after 3 would have been a dream! Do it now, do it right, and never look back!
Who said anything about 3 years? I'm a 30 year addict and still quitting. Day 5 in the books working on Day 6...
30 years is a long control by the nic.

I look back now and realize that nicotine was what was controlling me. Of course at the time I didn't see that.

25 year user here I understand what you are facing right now. Just know all you can do is quit today. DOn't worry about tomorrow or the next. Stay focused. You have the right attitude. I quit with you and if I can be an ear or anything please let me know. One day at a time.
Today, this morning is a good day, things are more clear in my head than they have ever been, and I have slept better than I have slept in years. I'm just now coming to the realization of 'the grip' that nicotine has on you. I also know that it's just a matter of time before the 'fog' rolls in and fucks with me. Right now, this moment, I will sip my coffee and enjoy the clarity...it's a beautiful thing!

Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Great decision. As suggest head over to the April 2016 quit group. Post roll early as that is your promise to live that day nicotine (in any form) free. It lets your brothers in quit know you are quit with them. Trade digits with anyone and everyone who will give you theirs. Use those digits if shit hit the fan and you are about to cave: let them help you and be there to help them. We're all in the same fight whether 3 days quit or 300 days quit.
congrats on the first of many roll posts. We post early, daily. Every single day. This is where accountability and Brotherhood begin. Quit on.
Get ready for the change of a lifetime. 25 year user here. If i can help you please let me know.

Welcome. Read everything you can. Post roll every day. Promise yourself and all of us that you will be nicotine free each day. Your April group will be your family so make them proud.

You better message me before you shove that shit in your mouth again. If you want, send me a pm and we can swap digits. You are free, don't give that away. You will never again for any reason

Thirty years ago I had my first dip. Three days ago was my last dip. I'm done and not coming back.
