Nicely done LJ, except post in January 16 not February 16. Just make sure you get on there every day and you'll be well on your way. Welcome to the fun house!
I think that was my fault. LJ the best part about posting roll is that when you mess up someone will fix it! :D

The important part is that you are here with us quit.

It's all about you bud. One day at a time. The cravings and triggers are a pain. It's amazing how controlled we are by the nic. I couldn't take a dump, a shower, mow the lawn, watch tv etc. without the nasty in my mouth. We didn't need it per say, our mind said we did.

I sunflowered myself to blahsville. Now im stuck on lifesaver hard candy.

So I bought some gum. Whenever I get a super bad craving or I start biting the inside of my mouth/gums I throw a piece of gum in my mouth. It seems to alleviate the craving and give me something to chew on other then the inside of my mouth. Thank you guys for the support. The struggle is real tho. So many triggers to the craving.

Congratulations on your quit. Try eating some fruit - apples. That helped me a great deal. I also love the fire balls. Those will wake you up!

Let us know what trick helped you with the gum biting thing.

I'm on day 82 and still bite the piss out of my gums. An important note on that, I'm no longer stuffing evilness after biting my gums.

Keep strong! Quit on, one day at a time.

Welcome Lj! This is the best decision you ever made, and you are in the BEST place for support, and help.

What you are experiencing is very common among new Quitters. So are sore throats, bleeding gums, and a whole bunch of other shit. You've poisoned yourself for how ever many years, and now 7 days later (congrats, btw), your body is throwing a temper tantrum.

Get some seeds. Gum. Life Savers. Fake dip (no nicotine). Mints. Toothpics. What ever you can get your hands on to help with the oral fixation.

The nicotine is out of your system, now it's a mind game.

Welcome aboard,

-Nolaq
Your gonna be ok...
Now like leeron said.... Go post roll.

Your mouth and brain will heal.
It gets better every day.

I quit with you today.

Lj, I like to do one thing at a time. 1) is quitting dip. Find that pacifier to help with the oral fixation. You just donÂ’t want to replace it with eating all day or you will have another problem. 2) see number 1.
