Hey guys, I'm NicotineSlave, new to the forum.
The past few weeks I've been doing the whole, "throw my can away, go back and get the can 3 hours later" type deal.
I'm really just tired of being a "slave" to nicotine, and I'm ready to try to kick this garbage once and for all.

It's going to be a long and trying quitting the dip road, but I'm gonna give it my best shot.

-NicotineSlave
flush it down the toilet.....there are no take backs from that....no offense but your screen name sucks...is that really what you want to be.....a nicotine slave?

You can do this!
I did exactly that, flushed it down the toilet. I said, 'nuff's enough. I'm done.

I KNOW I can do this, but that screen name was the first thing to come to my mind. I don't know if I can change it now. Haha.

Thanks for the encouragement :)
sorry I wasn't very encouraging...

welcome, We as addicts did and still make a lot of bad choices. You made a great choice when you decided to quit. Read as much as you can from the home page, drink lots of water, friut juice...get a plan together about what you are going to do!

Your quit group is April 2011, go there and post roll, stating that no matter what, you will not injest nicotine in any form today......repeat tomorrow! sing out if you need anything!
Welcome. Nice job flushing it. Now go post roll call and promise your April quit brothers that you will not use nicotine the rest of the day
I did :)
Good to have you, NS, and welcome to the April Group, which still needs a name.

It's a tough road you're about to follow, but if you've made the firm commitment to do whatever it takes to stop once and for always, you can certainly do it! Let us know if you have questions, or just need someone to lend an ear.

The April Group won't fuck up, everyone graduates. 'nutkick'

Hi NS,

Welcome to the group. There is a section that lists the most important things about this site. Please read items 1-4 on this page:

index.php?showforum=13

Posting roll is #1 as it is your promise to your brothers that you will not use anything that contains nicotine in it. If you are using, you cannot post on this forum. Please honor those in your quit group (you will be in April) and do not post unless you are nicotine free.
