This place is awesome. For us newbies, I am sorry to see and witness a fall but I love seeing people being held to account.

1st the sinner owns up to it.
2nd he is reproved with sharpness.
3rd He is shown love with broken hearts to know that he is valuable to us.
4th Ball is in his court. What is his move?

Can't wait to see this play out.

theweatherman: Now you get to be humble and listen to a newbie...I am fired up, this is new to me and my focus needs to be strong. Thank you for screwing up. You hurt yourself but taught me a great lesson. I don't want to cave. Never, Never, Never.

Some of us are not able to learn vicariously. Me; I watch this and think. "I'm not going to be this guy". So yes you suck, but your not a liar. I am dissapointed but impressed that put your hat in hand and confessed.

Want to be an all start again? Walk the walk - repair and REMEMBER what to watch for. Were you tired, bored, or off guard? Prepare because the day will come back and you will have your rematch.

I've got my bag of popcorn and I am going to watch how you play this. I always love to cheer for the underdog but most times I am disappointed. Underdog victories are the most thrilling victories to witness because they defy odds. Weatherman, I challenge you to defy the odds and I know you can but the odds are against you.

Nut up fucker! Your move, Your call, Your life. WHO ARE YOU?

I copied this from a new quitter in the June group good stuff here weatherman, read and learn!

I have seen youngins come and go.  Mostly go.  For many reasons.  Your Life experience makes you fee bullet proof.  Most here have lived for some time now and have seen the consequences of being a slave.  We became so disgusted with ourselves we were ready to quit and do whatever it takes to accomplish our goal of freedom. The youngins that remain are strong and prize their quit above many things.  I believe the reason you have not seen a great deal of response is that you have already been written off as a caver.

How does that make you feel?

What are you willing to do to stay quit?
I guess it makes me feel like maybe people here arent as supportive as i figured they were... but if they think im a caver already, they can suck my balls! If i really have to do it myself i will, but im sure there are a couple people on here that dont care how old i am. And im willing to do whatever i gotta do to stay quit. [\B] ive done it 32 days so far, theres no reason i cant keep going. If it means i gotta sit in my room depressed and pissed off for a couple weeks, its been done, and im still here arent i?

Do anything, ANYTHING, ANYTHING to stay quit.

One day at a time.

Learn from your mistake.
Quit for today.
Fuck tomorrow.

You are definitely stronger than 99% of people your age.

Most people can't quit for one day let alone 100.

Well Done Sir. Damn proud of you.

Stay involved, protect your quit.
I'll second that... good show brother.

Weatherman, great job. Some of those that ride you the hardest care about you the most. And yeah, they never met you. But both the dudes that busted your chops are the kind of people you want taking an interest in you. Welcome to your quit, I'm proud to be part of it.

I'll quit with you Weatherman. 32 is a good start. Around here we do it a day at a time so let's just quit today.

Damn, I wish I quit when I was 20...
Thats what my dad keeps saying. I didnt used to listen to him, but the thought of him not being around to see his grandkids someday is enough to make me realize i need to stop before i get to the point of no return. i think it will be easier now than it would be for him after like 45 years so i need to do it now.

Whats up yall. 20 years old, only been dipping for 5 years now but i already cant quit on my own. im 32 days in this time, which is way further than any other time so i think i got it this time. im stuck in shit ass Louisiana right now, where copenhagen is so cheap i almost feel guilty not dipping. Also doesnt help that im in the military, and half of my squadron dips all around me. but fuck it, im done for real this time.

weatherman...

they teach you about honor in the military?

If you've got honor...If your word is as good as a guarantee, then you can quit our way.

Honor is the most important part of a quit..we use a 3 step program:

1. Post Roll- This is where you throw down your word.. Where you place your honor.  It's a promise that you will not use nicotine just for today.  Your honor can get you through today, can't it?

2. Honor that promise. No excuse tendered nor accepted.  Doesn't matter what you are going through- your word is your bond.

3 Repeat

you can be the average 20 year old, or you can be the exceptional one- which is it going to be?
I guess only time will tell... but i can tell you right now im done. that first post was a challenge as far as im concerned, and i wont fail.
are you determined to be the average 20 year old...or the exceptional one?

are you determined to quit, or "time will tell"

Do or Do not...there is no try.

If you are determined to succeed, post rollcall: http://www.killthecan.org/roll/

March 2012 will be your quit group: index.php?showtopic=5516
