Joe I'm glad to see you've been posting roll. Recovery from nicotine addiction sucks but we can do it. Recovery doesn't come fast but, it's like something someone told me. If you hike into the woods 5 miles it's 5 miles back out. I'm finding that my hike was mostly uphill for 40+ years except for the last few months before I turned and started my quit. Those first few months on the way to recovery trip were straight up hill but the past few years have been getting progressively easier.

Glad to have you here, you found this place like many others here down on their luck and needin a had with this nasty addiction. I wont lie to you it will not be an easy ride but if you learn to use the tools that are being provided to you can do this. If you dont have numbers get numbers get close to members in your group develop that bond that will carry you all the way through.

I'm on day 52 and I feel great. Find your group, Post roll EVERY DAY, get numbers/contacts that can text/call you if you are running late on post (PM me if you want my #), read HOF stories and work to your own. Grab the nic by the balls and twice, don't be a bitch to the nic, be your own man. If you want someone to be hard on you, ask me or Pab1964, we'll lay it on you thick and have you hating us....but long as you're hating, you ain't cowering in a corner with a dip in. Had my last dip on Jan. 4th about noon. I stumbled on this site after looking for ways to quit for good. I have tried once before about a year and a half ago and it did not work. I have been chewing Longhorn Wintergreen pouches for around 10 years now (I am 41). I switched to dip after I quit smoking. I quit smoking for my wife when we got married and used the dip to help. It definitely helped, but also gave me a new nasty habit. I was a closet dipper as well. I have a 6 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. I would never let them or my wife know I dipped. Yes my wife would occasionally find some and would get furious that I was hiding it from her. Just like she did last Sunday. I feel like such a BITCH to think I would need to hide this addiction from someone I love very much. I have made up my mind that it is time to grow up and quit being such a PUSSY and letting this addiction hurt the ones I love. I am new to the site and not sure if I am even doing this right. Need some help and some direction here.
