C'mon, make that promise.
The problem is not the problem.  The problem is your attitude about the problem.  Do you understand?

The funny thing about nicotine is it creates the stress that it seemingly relieves. It tricks your mind into thinking that stuffing your lip will somehow make your day better, reduce stress, take the edge off, etc. It's a wicked, dirty little trick. Thinking that the presence of a substance will alleviate the desire that its absence (and prior presence) created in the first place. FU Big Tobacco for playing me for a fool.
That ^^^^ is some good info and should be in your mind to counteract any thoughts of "just 1"

Now, I see your day 2 on roll. Here is a list of your October brethren on there when I posted (in addition to you):

Lim25-day 7
Flaw - Day 2
CLW - Day 9
rdhawk05em
Tim-day 1 (tkranbuhl13)
BoneDiddley - Day 8
jeeptruck- day 9
Oxman- day 8
Bam0821- Day 3
Southpaw32 - Day 4
jaybird125 - Day 6

Have you reached out to any of them yet? Traded numbers?

These guys will be instrumental in saving your life. You might want to get to know them a bit.

Thanks for the support yall. I flushed all i had left and signed on to the roll call. Im gonna kick this addiction in the ass.
Now make sure you go through the house and find any stash cans you may have. Look in all your favorite hiding places. Then once you find them make sure you flush that shit and clean the cans so you cannot sneak any out of the trash.

Go to the store and get some sunflower seeds, candy, gum, straws, toothpicks, fake, and keep them handy.
Drink water, tons of it. When you think you have had enough water, drink more.
Pick a group ahead of you and read it from the first post to the last.

Great Choice!

Cold turkey baby! Its the only way. Tried that weaning, and mixing real with fake like a chemist hundreds of times. Just get it over with. Its physically out of your system in about 3 days they say. Then its all just mind games. Lets go man. Now!
Ha - I love this. I tried going 50/50 with the fake stuff back in the day when I "promised" my wife I was quitting. It was amazing though - it went from 50/50 to 60% real/40 fake to 75% real/25 fake to ahh fuck it I'm not bothering with the fake stuff anymore and went back to dip harder than ever. The kicker? - That was 8 years ago!

I'll quit with you 1 day at a time every damn day!

Listen to these guys..I had my plan all laid out and had my quit day picked (once my sleeve was done)...Well.....Once they flamed the ever loving shit out of me I decided to man up and stop right then and there. I'm on Day 20 and I feel great.. Listen to those that reach out to you and lean on them for support. This shit ain't easy but it's doable.

Via PM he says he is flushing it all now, and then posting roll.

Now he is offline.

Hopefully its cause he decided to take a shat on that stuff as well.

PM, phone number sent in case he needs help with posting roll.

Weaning only prolongs the agony. Cold turkey works...Throw it all down the toilet, read this site, post roll and make your promise not to dip.

A Quit Plan: Do you have one?

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit.
After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05
