Hey Jake, its your brother Lucius here,

Ignore those faggots who doubt you for failing to post roll. You don't need that shit. Tobacco cans come in rolls, and those bitches love it.

As for you, TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE!!!!

Believe me, brother to brother, I know the temptation. I quit over a month ago after ten years of dipping daily. That beautiful round tin, the raised letters on the metal, that sweet aroma. FUCK THAT SHIT. Its called cancer!!!! Its called DEATH!

Brother, I dont care if you never post roll again, I WILL NOT JUDGE YOU. The fact is, if you never put a dip in your lip, you have won. Posting roll is just one method. Some of us actually have shit to do, so we dont have time for sucking up to each other.

Brother, whatever category you may fall into, remember this. Each time you place that dip in your lip, your mind starts to tick. you feel that burn, you wonder "is it a tumor forming?" You buy that can and you ask "Is it cancer, or a rash?" You kiss your girlfriend and you think, "Will she taste my bloody gums?"

The answer is YES.

Tobacco kills. Congrats on tobacco alts. Everyone has different preferences, but I have found that Smokey Mountain wintergreen is great for me (if you dip wintergreen.) You can find it at many Wal-Marts.

If you did in fact relapse, its cool. Don't kill yourself over it (the tobacco is doing it for you), instead say "Lucius was a pussy. He sucked a leaf for ten years like a slave bitch, but then he broke free. So can I."

I am here with you my dear friend. I want you to survive. If you keep buying dip you WILL die. Its SOOOOOOO hard to quit, but YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES.

Its not posting roll. Its not chatting with quitters. Its keeping your bottom lip empty of tobacco no matter what. Fill it with herbal chews, altoids, gum or whatever, but don't let that tobacco in.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

-Lucius DeBorgia

Thank you so much for the support everyone!

srans  jake frawley: No Chevy here. I drove a GMC for while and bought a new Dodge back in 08. I appreciate the compliments though hahaha.

916quit: Glad to hear you quit also! I'll shoot you a PM if I need anything, please feel free to do the same.

Jayhawk: 22 days, that seems mighty impressive to me while I'm sitting here on my second day. And thanks for the heads up, I read the "what to expect" area. This should be quite an interesting first 3 weeks. Blehhhh.

Ace57: I feel ya brother. First morning after breakfast I really feel the need for a dip. I think I'm gonna order some fake snuff/chew whatever just for the oral fixation.

drock7: KTC brotha! I'm so glad I joined up!
That didn't last long.

Not sure why i am typing this but you suck at posting roll so that probably means you caved. Hopefully before you die you will come back here and reread your intro and see that you had a lot of help here and treated them like shit. 'Finger'

Hello all,

I've been thinking about quitting and have tried a handful of times on and off over the past few years. I'm finally calling it quits today. I googled around and found this forum, it looks like you all have a got a good handle on how this whole process works!

I'll be 25 here in a few weeks and I've been dipping since I turned 18. I was a Skoal man, then Red Seal and I've come back to Skoal in the recent months. Anywho, none of that matters anymore because I'm done with all that.

I look forward to being a part of this community on my journey to nicotine freedom and wherever the road takes me after that!

Warmest Regards,

Jake L.

P.S. I joined the group Pre-HOF September 2013 Class and posted roll call on there. Can someone give me a heads and let me know if I did this correctly?

Hey Man, I feel a bit awkward giving advice - I have only quit for 22 days but, here is what I can tell you. 1. Do it. Quit. Drop it - it's over. Just execute this - when you think about having a dip, don't. Move on to something else. Even if you have that conversation over and over - just don't do it. It isn't easy, but if you take it one chunk at a time - you'll make 22 days.

2. Read the site about what to expect as a quitter. You will likely experience some weird shit: sleeplessness, a little anxiety, the fog. It sucks, but as the guys on this site have said it best "own the suck." Absorb it, own it... it will go away. Day 5 - 20 is only 15 days. It will seem like more, but it ain't. I am 22 days in and things are slowly getting "normalized." The acute phase for me is slowly receding. Now, I am in uncharted waters and looking to these guys to help me. So, in short, I guess that's how this works - I can give you some perspective on today - but I need perspective for tomorrow! You got it... do it.
no hard feelings, but you were a skoal idiot, not (man) and you are now switching to ktc, so you are a KTC MAN... i will go for that. I quit with you today.
Im a newbie as well and you are in the september group with us other sluts as they call us. you will hate the next few days but remember its worth it, you are worth it and we cant do it alone... Be the MAN, and quit with us tomorrow.
pm anytime , your quit will depend on the guys here
by the way i was a grizz idiot, dont like to say the whole name cause i aint advertising for those scum bags... also we dont depend on the makers of the can, they depend on the idiot who buy it

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.
