Congrats on day 4 jake.
Have a plan for this weekend.
Stay busy and keep drinking plenty of water. There will be alot of first time without nicotine adventures. Embrace then and enjoy.
Quit with you today. Stay with it.
I believe.....

Yeah, today has been a long one and my cheeks hurt from sunflower seeds! I also picked up a can of that Smokey Mountain Nicotine Free Dip.....wow that stuff has come a long way since I last tried it about 10 years ago. It used to be like a little clumpy flavored waxy ball; anyway, its good stuff now. Like the peach.. It will be the first full 24 hours dip free in 1 hour and 47 minutes!

Just wondering, much does day two, day three, day 4, one week, one month suck compared to day one? This has been a long day so far and I don't see it getting any better! Just wondering what I have to look forward to?
A whole new life not worrying about your chemical dependacy! New world will open up to you! No stinking ass breath, cancer, embarrassment! One damn things for sure you'll never regret quitting but you will regret caving ! Long battle ahead hang tight!
Everyone pretty much summed it up , the first 3 days suck! Got better for a few days, then like day 6-11 sleep was really screwed up got better after that, but also will catch yourself zoning out (fog), 19 days in and so worth it. QUIT with you Jake!

First 3 days are the worst, first 2 weeks are bad in general. After that it really does get easier. I still have the thought of dip cross my mind, but I cant describe how not a big deal it is. I'm on day 38, and i feel like I haven't dipped in forever. With all the good that will come now you have stopped, you will regret not quitting sooner. Just don't give up on the hard days, and it become smooth sailing.

I'm on Day 37 and it feels like it's too easy. I have boundless energy and a relatively clear mind because I'm not worried as much about when and how I'm getting my next fix! But with that in mind, I still get craves and I still have rough days, just seem like less in severity and frequency.

You have 2-3 days of hell ahead of you if you are anything like me. Day 3 was hell on Earth. Then it got better, and now it is awesome. Travel to hell and back brother, it is so worth the trip. PM for a number to text if you need one.

Last chew was last night before my 10:00pm hockey game. Woke up and joined this website cause I can tell it's going to be a long day with many more to come.

20 years in - skoal wintergreen, then cope, then Timberwolf wintergreen, lastly skoal bandits for the last 5 years. Been getting bad with the bandits, pretty much having one in 100% of the time when I was awake.

So I made a promise to my wife about 1 year ago, that promise was if and when you get pregnant, I will quit chewing. Well.......turns out I'm gonna be a Dad and got to honor my word to my wife, and quit to grow old with my family.

So here goes......f!k, this day is going to blow!
Great decision Jake!

The next few days may be a bit of a shit storm, yea, but it is worth every second of the fight!

Congrats on becoming a dad, but you gotta make sure you're quitting for YOU Jake. You can't quit for someone else. This has to be for you.

I saw you posted roll, so nicotine in ANY form is off the table for today. Today is all you have to worry about, so don't worry about anything else but today.

Read everything you can here. Reach out if you need anything.
All great advice here..
Listen to the old man...Nolaq.
Read it again and again.
You won't quit for your wife or new baby.... (congrats by the way).
It may sound crude or rude it is not. It is the life of an addict. You have to find a way or reason to quit for you.
You have to learn to hate the guy you used to be on poison..
And be excited about the new guy, husband and dad that no one even knows yet!!!
Looking forward to getting to know a new Jake that's free of chemical and poison. You have been self medicating for a long time.. Its gonna suck until it doesn't...
For me... My new family digs the new husband, dad, and Man that I was created to be.
Welcome to KTC.
I quit with you today.
I believe.....

Welcome, Jake! This is the best choice you'll ever make. But here we make it every morning when we post roll. Post every single day. Make it a habit to post, and post first thing right when you wake up. Also, get active on here. Read, read, read some more. Reach out to some vets on the site and make friends in your Quit Group. We'll help you keep your promise to your wife, but most importantly... to YOURSELF. But you have to put in the hard work first and earn your accountability. Quit on brother!

Congrats on your decision! Make sure you post roll every day, that'll help more than you can imagine. I'm only 6 days in so far but I can tell you your attitude is one of the biggest parts of it, keep your head up, don't feel sorry yourself. I am proud to be quitting with you!!
