hey gneeson88, Listen very closely to what MThomas and Wt are saying. Read and reread their words...get to thinking how to answer and accept their free life saving advice.
Get to posting roll every a.m., earlier the better for your quit. Get to bed. Wake and Repeat.
you can do this, but you're gonna need the help of these great Quitters!
Welcome to the hardest thing you've ever done. The cost is your word, the benefits are endless.

Gneeson88,

We have a few thing in common. I can tell from your post. Welcome to hell. You ready to fight? It's a bitch and a roller coaster of emotions but today is my day 305. I can say today that my quit is easy, the burden of abstaining is light. It hasn't been sunshine and roses and that's why bitch addicts cave!!!

They say they want to quit when they really don't want to!!!! There are many that don't realize that sympathizing, glamorizing, entertaining, remembering the nic bitch with longing fondness, and excusing the evil in a can will be a disaster for an addict.

As an addict, we all can get lost in our thought about humping a can of chew. When thoughts or feelings like that come, panic! Fight, fight, fight and call your brothers to talk about it.

So glad I quit today and 304 days before today! Make it to 100 and it still won't be all sunshine and roses but you will have times when it is and you will love the freedom you feel!

Welcome and check your in box.

Big question. Why have you been fighting the urge if you loved dipping so much? Like smoke said we are quit for today, that's hard enough. Don't think further than that its not possible.

I've been dipping since 7th grade wrestling! I'm 41 now! I have a great wife and three great kids from 11 to 7 yrs old. I loved dipping! I alway took care of my body and never thought dipping was doing anything bad for me. My mom and dad were alway on me for dipping. They hated it! I always thought well I've never smoked! December 31 st was the last time i will ever dip! I've had enough! I don't love the can more then my family! I want to see my kids graduate high school and college be there for there wedding and grand kids! I know I'll be fighting this urge my whole life but I just want that tin to know that I'm in charge! I won't let it rule or ruin my life!
Oh Sillybuns, you're not quit for life, you're quit for today. Baby steps.
