Cody...you can do this, man. This forum is jammed with quitters. The path you are walking down has been trudged by many others. Get thru it a little at a time. After the first couple days, the physical part will get much much better. Once you beat its ass, that feeling of accomplishment can help get thru the mental part.

Like everyone says...one day at a time. I'm on day 10 and I already feel like a different person. You can do it, bud!

Welcome Cody! You are at the right place. Take it one day or one hour at time, whatever works. The first three days are hard, no way around that. But, you can do it. We're here for you and want to see you post roll tomorrow.

Way to go Cody.
You can do this man. Break it down into small enough amounts of time that you can conquer. Take a deep breath and just focus on getting through this minute. Hate the nic bitch. You got this. Before you know it, this day will be in the books and you'll be quit +1.
Quit with you today.
PM me if you need anything.

Welcome Cody, coming to this board was the 2nd best decision you've made (after the decision to quit of course).

I starting chewing 7 years ago to quit smoking, I was a smoker for 11 years. I have tried to quit countless times but have always ended up going back to nicotine only to be disappointed in myself. I've tried the gum, the patches, Chantix and hypnosis. I've found that nothing can MAKE you quit it's cold turkey and will power only. I've never had a support group behind any of my quits so this is kinda my last shot of hope. 14 hours since my last dip!
Congrats on the decision to quit. 14 hours is a hell of an achievement, keep it up. If you need anything please don't hesitate to give me a holler via PM. Glad to have you in June, I quit with you today.

You have to commit to this for you. There are countless people here who will help you. This forum is only as useful as you allow it to be. Reach out to people. Form connections and friendships with people you can communicate with daily to keep each other accountable.

Post roll every day and make the commitment to yourself and to all of us that you're not going to use nicotine for today.

Quit one day at a time. Don't worry about tomorrow. Quit for today. When you get through today, do it again tomorrow.

PM me if I can help in any way.
