Hello everyone ,

I've been using dips for around 12 years not a minute passed by without it in my mouth.. i did quit some months ago , fought a long , hard and painful battle .. it was beautiful! but i slipped after a month.. i thought one small dip wont do anything , boy i was wrong . Anyway here i am , day 1 again .. been two hours in and already starting to feel cravings, thanks to all the helpful folks on the chat that lead me here , atleast i dont have to keep talking to myself to keep me sane
Oooooh Vin! Where did you go. You quit after only a month, now after only 6 days you think you can leave KTC and make it on your own? Keep your word with all of your OCT quit brothers and post roll! Welcome back man!

Welcome Vin,
Congrats on your decision. Read everything you can on KTC. Get to know your quit brothers. Stay quit.

Almost two years ago, I made the same decision you just made. I decided to take my life back. I wasn't sure how I was going to do it, just that I was going to. I found KTC and 'drank the koolade.' I posted roll first thing in the morning, I read everything I could get my hands on, I interacted with those in my quit group. Guess what happened?

It worked.

The reason why it works is that not only do we know you, we ARE you. We've been where you're at and we know the way out. If you let us, we'll help you save your life. As has been written in this thread already:

1. Post roll
2. Keep your word

I'll quit with vinvin today.
The product is worth the process.

Welcome,

You've clearly come to the right place, thousands and thousands of quitters here can't be wrong. A little more than a year ago I made the same decision that you have come to, after 34 years of being a slave to the can, one day I just decided that I had had enough, I found KTC and the rest is history.

The cravings you're having won't go away soon, but, if you follow the plan here you can work through them and before you know it they will almost be nonexistent. This past weekend I was working on a huge landscaping project and the thought occurred to me I should be having a dip right now, but then I smiled because I remembered I don't do that shit anymore. Just follow the plan that's been laid out for you and you will get there too.

You can do this, and we'll be here to help. Get to know your fellow quitters, get some phone numbers, get some e-mail addresses, but above all don't be afraid to reach out for some help if you need it. I wouldn't have gotten as far as I have without the support of my brothers here. You'll probably hear this over and over again but it's true, if I can do this anyone can do this.

Post-roll, make your promise every day, keep your promise, come back tomorrow morning and do it again. It really is that easy. Again, welcome to KTC, and shout out if you need some help.

CJ

Welcome, man.

You did not quit a few months ago. You merely stopped, and stopping is something that anybody can do.

We're badass motherfuckers of quit here, and we know that you can do this because we have. I am quit 362 days today because of the program.

We quit here by posting roll call daily. Roll call is your promise to not use nicotine in any form today (JUST FOR TODAY). It also alerts us so that we can be angels on your shoulder during this quit. We bring personal accountablility into the equation.

Please look up top there to the black banner. Find the Salmon colored Welcome Center, and read about what we do here and why. When you have done that, go make your promise over in October 2012.

I am Wastepanel, and I am a proud member of the October 2011 class (The Inglorious Basterds). We will back you in anything you need man.
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

Vinvin -

Great choice, brother! Sorry to hear about your slip up, but don't worry about that now. There is no slipping up if you use this site correctly.

Go to the "Welcome Center" link above. Learn what posting roll means and how to to it. If you have questions, just post it where you posted this message and one of the moderators will help.

Post roll everyday and keep your word. Take things one day at a time and you've got nothing to worry about.

Welcome to KTC, brother.
