The minute that you make the decision and throw your stuff away is the day you quit.

If you have done that, congratulations. You are quit and on day 1.

If you haven't, do it. You can wake up and post day 2.
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

hey guys, im blu. ive been chewing for a three years now and now ive decided to quit. I just looked up nicorette gum as an option for the first 2 weeks. any advice? I recently have cut back a lot on my chewing, i was never a can a day dipper but i have been through some recent troubles and my dippin frequency is going up. Me and a few of my buddies dip and now we have been talking about quiting and now I plan to start. I wanna kick this habit and I am starting tomorrow as my first whole day without dip. I have got some sunflower seeds, jolly ranchers, life savers to help me with the oral fixation part. Should i try nicorette gum for intense cravings? or is that a bad idea? and could someone point me the right way to post on this site. thanks in advance

Fuck the nicotine whore and her diseased pussy.

You are addicted to nicotine. Dipping is a habit.

You don't need nicotine. AT ALL.

Here at the KTC, we quit cold turkey. That means we don't use any nicotine vehicles at all. We have a simple system for quitting:

Post roll.
Keep our word.
Repeat.

We quit one day at a time, and we control our actions. We are not controlled by a poisonous plant.

Secondly,

What is wrong with right now?

Go flush all of your stash down the toilet and start. RIGHT FUCKING NOW.

Take a look up at that black bar up top. Click on the WELCOME CENTER and read up about what we are. Then, go find your quit group. You are in July 2012, which is when your 100th day nicotine free will be.

If you have any "intense cravings" (and you will. Trust me.) Come to the site. Read some of the awesome knowledge thrown about here. Go chat it up. Ask for help.

You'll be surprised how much you have in common with a bunch of internet strangers.
Blu I couldn't agree more. 13 days ago I had a big plan to quit in 11 days, I paced the floor, read alot here on KTC and at about 1:45 am April 1 I flushed 3 full cans of cope, said goodbye to my plan to stop on the 11th of April. I QUIT and haven't looked back. It will suck!!! Use those experinces to strengthen your resoulve to never ever ever ever cave to another of your craves. Man stop while you are still young. I'll PM you my short intro version and contact info. watch your inbox
