Riding my way through day 3. Cravings have still been mild, I continue to chew gum, my nails, Jake's Mint Chew, and seeds. These last few days I have been stuck in my office hammering out some spreadsheets, the boredom is where my craves are coming from.

Thanks to everyone here, its nice to read others stories and great words of wisdom.

3 days of win... nice.

Keep doing exactly what you are doing. As the days stack up, the winning gets easier, but the pride and relief of being free of the burden increases. Burden, you say? You know... the hiding of tins, or the making up of excuses to run out in the middle of the night, the panic of the store being out of your brand, the feeling of shame when someone new sees you with a lip full of poison that you would prefer wouldn't know about that... all of that sort of stuff. Life is just better, dude, without this burden.

Honored to quit with you today.

Fashioned, welcome to the site! You may not think it's bad now, but trust me you will run into some tough times. If you get involved in your group and get some backing those times are manageable.

Quit hard like your life depends on it cuz, it does.

I quit with you today!

Welcome. I currently have 6 packs of gum on my desk.

Nice Job D! You even posted roll correctly the first time.

Do it everyday and keep your word. Read all you can on this site.

My first day....
« on: March 08, 2017, 02:49:00 PM »
Hello everybody!

Today is the first day of my quit. It honestly has not been that bad. Chewing gum has helped.

I don't talk all that much, so... I am 35 and have dipped for 16 years. The last 5 years a tin every other day. I am glad to be done with it. Glad to have joined this great community.

Thanks!
D!
