Hello Cero,

I have just recently quit as I am on day 4. The people and the help you will receive from this website are the best.

Now talking about alternatives with ZERO NICOTINE. I have been throwing Jakes Mint Chew every time i get a big craving. It helps with oral fixation. Also have been sucking on lifesavers mints like they are paying me.

The website features many reviews on nicotine free products. Take a look now.. But flush your dip down the toilet and go cold turkey.

Brad

Flush it today and quit cold turkey. That's what I did 147 days ago. No more dipping for me. I quit here one day at a time.

Are you ready to quit? Flush it and post a day 1 in the pre-fall of fame January group.

You are a addict to nicotine, changing delivery system isn't quitting. Nothing wrong with non-nicotine products. Dump all your nicotine NOW and man up today. It will suck but nothing you can't do everyday, your not alone.
what wt and grady said.

You are an addict friend. The substance is nicotine. Anything with nicotine in it is not quitting.

You have a choice.. you can continue down the road of active nicotine use... I took that road for 33 years. For 33 years I went through a withdrawal at 15-30 minute intervals between dipping. Withdrawal sucks, but there is no reason to do it for decades. Pitch everything that has nicotine in it, brace yourself for one final withdrawal, never to be repeated again... and be a quitter.

stake your claim for freedom today, friend.

Hey just signed up here, I'm almost 28, been dipping for about 5 years. I started with longcut and quickly decided that I not only did not enjoy the spitting, but also having pieces of tobacco in my mouth. I switched to Skoal berry pouches shortly after, and now that it's discontinued I've been dipping with Skoal mint pouches.

I've never really had the urge to spit with the pouches, in fact I don't salivate like most people do when they dip. This makes it a lot easier to use indoors, at home or at work.

I'd like to quit in the near future and was wondering if anyone here have tried non-tobacco pouches that they sell on the internet (such as brands like smokey mountain).
I have a e-cig, however I couldn't get used to it as a replacement (even at the max nicotine level).

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Cero, welcome. We don't do "near futures" here, we quit, we quit right NOW! Man up, grab your sack and quit. Yes many of us here have used fake, whatever it takes BUT we don't use ANY kind of nic gum or patches. Post roll HERE with Jan, 15. This site and your will to stay quit, will save your life. It's up to you to make the commitment.
