So..I'm at day 5 of my quit and handling it quite well, I think. Being in the construction biz though, I've encountered about a dozen triggers that had to be "handled".

Anyways, I was sitting here at my office this morning, looking out the window when along comes Mr. Coyote. (it's Phoenix and they are as common as cats and dogs)..and I thought to myself "Hmmmmmm Self, you should bring in that new bow that your wife got you for Christmas and maybe also one of those cool varmit calls that you use to get all the neighborhood dogs barking". So, maybe, just maybe, when I'm really feeling an urge next week, an unlucky coyote may get an arrow or four shot his way.
Sound like fun to me!!!

I don't know why the hell I waited so long to do this, but I did. Thats right, I chucked that $ 4.69 drain on my wallet right into the non-recycle trash can. Goodbye Mrs. Copenhagen, you evil, money grubbing bitch you. I've got better things to do...like fish and win some tournaments.

The RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. can kiss my non-having- Copenhagen -anymore -ass too.

Anyways, now that I got that little tid-bit offa my chest, hello everyone! I kinda sorta quit a couple of weeks ago. By kinda-sorta, I mean, I cut down on the amount day by day, then when Monday rolled around, that was it...Q-Day, no mas, no quiro mas, zip, zilch, nada. Monday was difficult but not unbearable althogh that was the very first time I experienced an ALL DAY craving. Tuesday was about the same. Today..I didn't get the urge until around lunchtime..I take that as a good sign. Also, for my morning run, I perhaps detected a little more pep in me step.

It's great to be here with you guys!
Welcome to the best damned decision you ever made. not sure how much you have perused this site but take a look around. There is a lot of great info and time wasting activities to help deal with your craves. You should head over to the April '10 Quit Group and post roll if you haven't already. Do that every day. That is your promise to the group that you will not use that day. Next few days will really suck. Let me know if you need a phone number. Be happy to give it to you.

In fact, heck your inbox (1) in the upper right of your screen. If you need anything ask, well, ask anyone on here.
