Congrats on a great choice!!! 2 years or 20...doesn't matter. The Nic Bitch doesn't give you up any easier just cause you've only been with her for 2 years.

Man up, post roll, keep your word. That's all there is to it. You can do it. We believe in you.

Using tabacco is a choice, you either choose to use it or you choose to stay nic free for the day. There is no "trying" to it, you make the choice.

Get phone numbers. Have people you can text or call when you are feeling weak. These people also look out for you and you for them. This site is all about accountablity and support for each other.

Welcome to the site, together we kick the nic bitch!!

For the past 30 yrs. I continuously had a dip in my lip from the time I woke up until I went to bed, except for at mealtime. Very few people would of ever suspected it, I hide it well! The deception and guilt is over...I'm one stubborn Chick that will never fall victim to the can again!

Tobacco didn't get where it is on "habit". You are 100% addicted. This will be hard, but extremely rewarding. Keep your word.

You want to quit? Awesome! :)

A good place to start is the 'Planning your Quit' section then look into posting roll then head over to quit groups and post roll in your group which would be November.

Other than that check around the site and pm me if you got any questions.

"Tryin to Quit"

Welcome, but let's get a couple things straight. Addiction to Nicotine is not a habit, it's an addiction--you are an addict (know this before you end up sucking on the turd for 30 years instead of 2 years).

We don't "TRY" to Quit---we DO QUIT. Please ask one of the Adminstrators to see if you can change your name before you send the wrong message with your name.

Otherwise welcome to THE QUIT. POst roll and make your promise to quit--read eveything on this site and get to know your quit brothers in November. You made a good choice to quit!

Pm me if you need anything---The first thing you should do is change your name on this site!

Better now than 10, 20, or 30 years down the road when you've really done some damage.

Just stick to your guns and read as much as you can. Learn how this site works, and quick. Find your group, post roll, exchange some info, and take it one day at a time.

I'm new myself, but there's one thing I learned like pronto. Don't fuck with these guys, they don't take kindly to people who aren't serious about staying quit.

just made the decision

hey, I've not been dipping for that long (~ 2 yrs) and i just decided to quit. like just now.

i started be cause the dudes i was hanging around with did it, and i've always been one to try new things.

anyway, i've since come to realize that the stuff i was getting into (smokin pot, drinkin, doing anything to get high) are just fuckin stupid. i've cut all of that out of my life, and now i think its time i shake this habit too.

it had gotten to the point where i wasn't enjoying it like i used to...more like i was just dipping to feed the beast, ya know?

anyway, any input wopuld be really helpfu.
