Hello, My name is Mike and today is the first day without nicotine. I quit dipping in 94, but then started with chew.  I'm not sure how to proceed. I clicked the quitter group and nothing happens. Any help how to get started would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Mike, I'm Aaron and I'm in your group. Feel free to reach out to me if you need anything. If you would like my personal number just let me know and I'll send it to you so we can hold each other accountable and vent to eachother if necessary. Slowly but surely trying to meet everyone in the group. Pumped the efff up to quit with you, Mike.

Hi Mike,

You have made a great decision to quit.  We quit 24 hours at a time here by posting our promise on Roll not to use nicotine for the day.  We post early in our day, thereby taking nicotine off the table for the day, keep our promise all day and come back the next day and do it all over again.

Your quit group is August Pre-HOF Quit Group.  You can click that link and it will take you there.

The reason it is August is that is when everyone in that group will reach 100 days quit.

Wake Up, Piss, Post (WUPP) is the mantra used here.  It means post early in your day not supper time.  Also One Day at a Time (ODAAT) is how we quit.

You can find instructions on how to post roll in the August Group.  Go post roll and start exchanging phone numbers with other quitters using the Private Message feature in the site.  Those phone numbers give you instant access to support and build your web of accountability and brotherhood.

If you want mine, send me a PM with yours and I will happily reciprocate.

Proud to quit with you,

Chris
If you want my digits, just ask and they will be yours, but I expect yours in return.

Accountability is a statement of personal promise, both to yourself and to the people around you, to deliver specific defined results.

You need anything, ask.  You feel strong, help.  This quit is for you but we got your back.
